Excellent easy to apply product
I was a little sceptical when buying given the cost of having a ceramic coating applied professionally.Having made sure that the surface was clan and free of contamination I applied two coats with some to spare in the bottle. It goes a long way!The instant shine has remained for a good 12 washes now and still looks just as good as when first done. When applying many microscopic pinpoint stone marks in the laquer finish disappear as well.Excellent product and I have purchased more to coat two other cars.

Good Value for money
Good product, easy to apply, does what it’s supposed to do. For better beading, apply at least two layers. One layer will make the rain bead but it doesn’t roll off the car, added a second layer and the problem was fixed. Gives a great shine. Good value, low price.

Excellent Product
Seems very good. I am unable to comment on its longevity yet but I have high hopes as water is still beeding after 4 washings. Certainly can’t complain about the price!Update- a year on and the 2 cars that I treated with the same bottle with product to spare are still beading when it rains and have been shampooed most weeks. I am somewhat bemused by some of the negative reviews but I think bad workmen blame their tools! I spent time preparing and machine polishing the paintwork first using iron out etc to remove contaminants. After application I put the cars away for 2-3 days in the dry and this allowed the coating to cure and I think this last step is the clincher for longevity . I will use this product on all my new cars in the future as I have never needed to get the wax out since and they both still look like new!

It actually works, I had my doubts.
Before you flame me for being a silver-spoon-snob, I'm self-employed and work six days a week. A lifestyle choice for me is to spend the vast majority of my money on cars, and my most recent purchase was an AMG '63 (this cost more than out first two houses) so I'm very careful what I wash it with or rub into the paint, or type of cloth I rub the paint with, or how hard I rub, or for how long too.I spent a full day preparing my paint (although it's a brand new car) and the next day applying the ceramic coating. This took a couple of hours of gentle rubbing and stroking :-DIt is true that the small cloth doesn't need to be sopping wet and a few drops do spread widely, though the guys who say one or two drops is enough are being too greedy. I covered my car including all plastics and used 'just' over one bottle. Water beads off, plastics look shiny, and I'm impressed for the money. When the car had a week of dust on it, I used my jet wash to spray it clean, and that was that.I would say results will vary dependant upon paint colour/age and condition. On one of my other cars the ceramic coating was a mistake. Old red paint, lines left all over the bonnet where I'd been rubbing the cloth :-OI quickly used some resin polish to remove the ceramic and just waxed the car as normal instead so panic over. Washing my cars is like man-gardening. The grass and weeds just grow back so the garden holds no interest for me, keeping a clean car however.....I'm glad I tried this as a cheaper alternative to the main brands, and if this lasts a few months before breaking down and wearing off I'd see it as a success and the next coating will be from a cheapish market-leader. I wasn't born into money so I'm realistic when buying car cleaning products and wouldn't simply buy an expensive brand just becasuse the car magazines like the expensive packaging and tell me that's what I should be using. To part with £300 for 'top-notch' paint sealers etc seems like snake-oil to me, so this one at £20 was worht the experience.

Enough for a Fiat 500….
Enough for a Fiat 500… Okay so I completely coated the car, that’s all the glass and plastic and the bottle ran out. So maybe take that as enough to coat a regular cars paint work and that’s it.What’s missing from the kit are a couple of things. One is a pair of gloves. I wouldn’t use this without wearing something to protect your skin, it can be pretty nasty if it gets in your eyes too. So just be careful. The other things that’s missing is a cloth to buff it off. I only mention that as it said one is supplied. However just a regular microfibre you’d use for drying a car is enough.Okay so advice for using?1. Wash car completely2. Use a product like Magma from Autogylm which removes iron and debris3. Clay Bar the car and let dry fully4. Right now you are ready!5. Start by wrapping one of the white cloths around the black pad with foam stuck to it.6. Apply a few drops then work half a panel at the time criss crossing your coverage. If you really wanted to see properly consider a head torch.7. After a few mins buff off. Use in a circling pattern and keep turning your cloth over.Keep doing this working around methodically. Pay attention to high build up areas as you’d find it gives better protection.Okay so my thoughts on this.Yes it’s okay on headlights, glass and restored the black trim. If you only want to cover the paintwork then buy one bottle. If you want to cover the glass and trim you need another. It’s deceptive as it’s a heavy glass bottle once it runs out it still feels full. I mean 30 ml is the same as 30 grams so it’s not much. When applying it I found the pad gets soaked so you can get away with using less. However if you do your trim then you’ll pick up dirt and discolour the cloth so you need to use another white application cloth. All in this is my first attempt at using a ceramic coating. I’ve many decades of cleaning and polishing my cars. It’s easy to use. I though it seems much like Autoglyms extra gloss protector. I’ll update on how well it performs after a few weeks. At the moment it’s curing after buffing in the garage. It’s given a nice impression and gloss from the first attempt.
