This is a Great Boot. Look how I fixed the tongue.
I work in a steel fabrication facility, so I am on my feet all day. I do at least 10,000 steps a day in an unforgiving environment. These boots held up for two years. The wide selection fit my feet best and of course I put added arch support insoles, and they've been very comfortable and light weight. The only problem is the tongue. Even if you smoosh it down while putting it on, by the end of the day it will sneak out and you have this ridiculously long tongue sticking out, like your trying to resist the 90's, but in an absurd way. So I got sick of it, and made two tiny incisons into the leather on the top of the tongue. Ref. Picture. Snaked the laces through using a piece of wire tied to the aglet of the lace, and then I never had a boot tongue problem ever again. This is my second pair, and I will forever buy this boot. And you should also know that it is pretty waterproof. I pushed the limits a few times and had a little water get in, but we're talking about like walking through water that is almost over the boot, in a mad dash for the car, and it still did a pretty good job.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
Sized right. Comfortable from the beginning. Time will tell on durability, but a month in I believe quality to be very good.

Comfortable Tactical Boots at a Reasonable Price
I didn't pay attention that I was ordering the safety-toe version of this boot. I would NOT have chosen that because I don't really need it. They have a composite-toe construction, not steel toe. This is not my first pair of safety toe boots so I understand that they don't flex as well as the non safety models. That makes them a little stiff. Also, the pull loop is a little small for my finger to easily slip into when I need a little help pulling on my boots. Otherwise, I am very happy with these boots in the first month of wear. I have been wearing them for a few hours a day, slowly breaking them in. The boots are not waterproof but I ALWAYS spray waterproofing on my fabric and suede shoes and boots before wearing them. Also, the weatherproofing helps to keep them clean. So far, the traction seems good but I have not tried them while on a wet, slick floor. I will never buy another pair of tactical, hunting, or work boots with lots of padding without the zipper. I also have a pair of UnderArmor tactical boots with the zip side but these are superior. The zipper works great and there is a leather tab with velcro strip to cover the zipper at its highest point. I may add pictures of the insole and the foot bed later. The Reebok website describes the boots as follows: "The EVA midsole, embedded Shock Eliminator heel cushion, and Foot ForceĀ® F2A footbed work together to provide all-day cushioning and comfort." I cannot argue with that. I was pleasantly surprised about the heel cushion and the footbed cushioning. Overall, I think the boot is a good looking boot that goes well with khaki shorts and long pants. I would have preferred a little darker khaki, but for the most part these are some good looking boots. Just remember to condition them with suede cleaner and conditioner from time to time and of course, spray them with several coats of waterproofing.

Very nice, high quality desert/hiking/work boots
These are EXACTLY the boots that I was wanting to get for a couple of years now. The color is the exact color that I wanted, not too light, not too dark. I have almost this exact boot, except the other one I have was made by Converse and is sage green, but they were bought out by Reebok. Now, I can see that the quality has not changed, and the only difference now is the brand name: Reebok (now) vs Converse. I was worried at first that I had ordered the wrong width (wide), because my converse model is a 10 (M), and that one fits just right. But when I tried these on, they fit perfectly, just a tiny bit on the loose side, but that's fine, because it allows for better air circulation. As other reviewers have noted, the tongue of the shoe is just a little too thick, but otherwise that is the only drawback that I can tell. Another reviewer suggested that the zipper be placed more to the front, but I've had no problem getting the boots on with the zipper's current location. I very rarely get compliments while wearing boots/shoes, but I have received compliments on these. I cannot vouch for the durability of these boots as of yet, and so will edit my review in a year's time.Pros:*Aggressive styling*High quality, smooth, nubuck leather*Soles designed for grip on slippery surfaces*Composite toe protection (not steel), which makes this boot airport friendly as it says on the tag*Easy to put on and take off due to the location of the zipper*Very comfortable to wear for long periods*Stiffness of the boots enhances ankle support making this great for hiking*High quality FLAT laces - keeps the laces from being untied unlike other boots with round laces, so I'm not constantly having to tie my boots over and over againCons:*Tongue of boot is a bit large, especially at the top of the boot*Fits slightly large*Very Stiff, Takes a good period of breaking in - almost like wearing a ski boot*Could have a little better cusioningIf these boots are as good as my Converse ones, then I would definitely buy again. But we will see how well these hold up in a year's time.
