Does the job
After fitting it to my mountain bike, it only took one run and a fall to prove its effectiveness. However, be mindful that the guard may not be compatible with all bikes. I found it challenging to install on my 2019 Trek X-Caliber 9, and it's crucial to secure the wheel extremely tightly when locking it in place, as it has loosened twice following some intense impacts to the rear wheel.

Works well on hybrid and racer bikes.
I bought 2 of these. Put one on a racer and the other on a hybrid bike. Easy to put on and are very sturdy. Good value.

Smaller than expected
Small but did save the gear derailer on my sons bike when he dropped his bike on its side. Bent the product. I bent it back by hand and it continues to serve its purpose. If you have an expensive bike buy a bigger and better one! Was fine for my junk yard rescue bike.

Perfect fit
I have a Boardman hybrid woman's 8.8 bike and fits perfectly.very happy and have piece of mind that I'm protecting my derailleur when I'm on long wilderness rides..not sure what I will do with the second one lol

Good quality, easy to attach
Bought to replace the original part that had sheared off.Easy to attach and durable, no further problem since this has been in use. Good pack size (2 provided) in case it breaks again - mostly due to a 7yr old throwing his bike around!!
