A lot of other ultra-fine tip pens I've used have tips that are prone to clogging or have finicky writing angles. The G2 just writes. It responds just fine to multiple angles over it's entire life span. It doesn't skip in the least, meaning the tiny letters you will write with this will come out smoothly. At such a fine point, a point other inks don't handle as well, the normally accelerated ink consumption of gel ink is far less noticeable. The ink itself is water and fade resistant. The pens are also refillable, which is always a nice bonus.It's not completely perfect, though. While it's not uncomfortable to write with, there are pens with much better grips. The ink can smear easily if you don't give it a little time to dry; though, it's highly smear-resistant once it does. The pen's body doesn't hold up to abuse very well, either. Really, though, all this means is it's low on frills, and for the price that's not much of a minus.In summary, this is a really good pen. It writes just about a nicely as you'd like it to, and while it's not completely perfect, it's perfectly functional. This, for the price, is more than reasonable.

These are my favorite ink pens of all time. They are very durable and the ink lasts a long time. I never have problems with them drying up or the ink flow skipping. The ultra fine point is perfect for taking notes or writing in margins. They come in a few colors.

I've been using Pilot G2 for years now and I have never found a better pen. I've tried so many possible alternatives and again and again I find myself returning to my beloved 0.38 Pilot G2. I have very small handwriting so I prefer extra fine pens and yet every single line of ink that comes out of these is smoother than the last. Super crisp and smooth fine lines, what more could you ask for? Plus they last for a long time, though I wouldn't recommend the refills because they don't last as long, instead it's better to purchase brand new pens.

I bought this set because I already had one of these pens at home but it was running out. I love the thinner point and love how this writes. As for the part of the pen that you touch, as with most pens I wish it would be a little softer but it's not any harder than other grips. I have not had any issues with the pen coming apart or it not working right and the ink always comes out. Overall pretty good quality.
