Adore 34" Tesla The Electric EEL Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

My daughter kept talking about electric eels during a vacation trip to the beach, and I decided to look for a stuffed animal eel. Who knew they even existed! They are very well made and the crinkling plastic has not been an issue. She loves trying to "zap" her grandparents and uncles with the eel. Very cute and fun. She had a slight scare where we thought a dog got a hold of it and ruined it , so we quickly bought another. Luckily the original eel was fine and now she has two eels. She sleeps with both every night.

It's a unique stuffed animal and kids absolutely go crazy for it. The tail has a plastic inside the crinkles to mimic electric sounds. Even my pets love it.

This product is bigger than I had expected and is made with good quality. Only the tail crinkles as well so the noise isn't so bad the dots all over it's body are really neat to

He looks great and he is filled with plastic bags so he crinkles and makes "static" sounds. Not great for cuddling, but I use him as a prop and it's perfect!

It’s a good quality stuffed animal! Looks like an eel too. Made my daughter quite happy as she likes fairly obscure stuffed animal types (coelacanth, this eel etc). The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is the crinkly “electric” sound. It’s not terrible per se, but it’s the exact same thing my dogs have in their toys. My daughter likes to sleep with it and the crinkling wakes her up. It’s still a good toy and a good purchase though.

While it’s tough to admit, real Electric Eels are not quite as cute as this stuffed animal version. It’s irresistible to anyone who likes some of the under-appreciated animals out there (myself and our daughter included). She actually received this almost 5 birthdays ago, and I’m only NOW leaving a review because of how often people have complained about his sound effects in their write-ups. Not only do I find the crinkle to be a clever inclusion, but that is almost precisely what you hear standing at the Electric Eel exhibition tank in the New England Aquarium. Also: it’s not a LOUD toy. Maybe it’ll keep some toddlers up (?), but our then-6-year-old brought it to bed with her and there was never an issue. All these years later it has held up beautifully, still cunningly crinkles, and still delights. Not too shabby for a modestly-priced plush!
