Perfect book for work relations
This is a great read for helping you in a work space, especially in handling tough situations and controlling emotions so it doesnt become worse. It really helps your understanding on communication as well as instructing you how to respond and accept your responsibility in problems.

Excellent read for ANYONE!
This book is a great read for growing both personally and professionally. Having critical conversations are not only necessary but can be life changing with and without them. This read helps you to understand when and how to have those conversations. Wether managing a group or simply needing to have what would have been a difficult discussion with a spouse or child, this book makes it possible!

What an eye opening read
This is an incredibly easy-to-read book which was quite eye opening and interesting! I recommend it to anyone who has a good grasp on their own behavior and emotions, but is finding it harder to connect with and organize others. I'm going to try to implement the ideas discussed in the book more and more, but it comes down to values and interests all the time :) I read this as part of a course on Conflict Management, and I find this to fit in nicely with mediator curriculum. Also, as a yogi, this information is perfect as I (a westerner) learns more about spiritual ideas of interacting with people.

Accountability review
If you find yourself in a situation where you have to call someone on their failure this book provides a path to do so while avoiding the common pitfalls that lead to problems. The solutions provided would work equally well for supervisors and subordinates in a business environment and some of the tool would also help with personal relationships. There are limits to the solutions provided as well since in some environments there is no way to create safety before discussing a problem. Overall I liked the book which I found easy to read and well written.

The authors not only offered good, practical
I had to read this for a class and I was dreading it, but I ended up reading almost all of it in one sitting. The authors not only offered good, practical, applicable information, but their writing was pretty good as well. I expected it to be dry and very text-book like, but really it was pretty engaging. It's been a few weeks since I read it and it has proved to be pretty helpful! It's not a magic fix-all for all your relationship problems or anything like that, but its a good tool and resource fro improving how you handle accountability issues in relationships in your personal and professional life.

Crucial Confrontation
I didn't catch that the authors had re-titled their existing book, "Crucial Confrontations".I expected something new, LOL.I wasn't offended though because the book is so good.It made an excellent gift. This is the best book I've read on accountability discussions. The "FeedBack Script", podcast by Manager Tools and an old book, "Analyzing Performance Problems", by Mager and Piper are excellent companions to this book. Also S.Covey Sr.'s, discussion about managing by agreement in the 7 Habits really cements one of the hardest things to do when working with people, holding, ONE ANOTHER accountable.God Bless

Adds value!
Kind of life changing when it comes to having good conversations in the midst of conflict of any kind. Would really recommend! I am reading this with some associates, and it’s really helping all of us already. I would say we are already good at handling conflicts, and this book is still adding extreme value.
