I didn't expect much from a product entitled "BLACKS" that had a bad smell and came in 80's style crinkly plastic bags. But it really does restore leather color quite well. I've used it in my BMW on the wheel and on the seats and it's holding up quite well. A bit hard to get that perfectly smooth texture due to the nature of the liquid, but once you get the hang of it, you can feather it out pretty well. It takes practice to ensure there is no texture after your work. You may have to sand and repaint if your damage is extensive. Otherwise, if it's just surface discoloration, use a VERY LIGHT coat.

This stuff is good does the trick

Not thrilled. The rip I have is about 3.5 inches long and shaped like a "C." I've done two applications, one week apart, and let it sit overnight each time. During the second application, I used the backer, but the results were nil. I'll be looking for a different product.

Worked great to fix the tear in my sofa would buy them again

purchased for repair of leather jacket... repair patches failed, pealed of within a week.

Patched up a small hole in the car seat and worked amazingly. Came out looking great.

Although I used it on my vinyl it had strong discoloration on black.
