This is a beautiful light that compliments the style of our Craftsman built home. It fits in perfectly.Made from a well known lmanufacturer, you can purchase with confidence that you are getting a quality light.In contrary to “keep looking” remarks, this unit is made of solid construction. Also, it does indeed work with LED lights, as long as they are dimmable and size A15.I used this Westinghouse 52790270 dimmable clear filament LED bulb from Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/Westinghouse-Lighting-5279020-Equivalent-Dimmable/dp/B0CMW24XV6True, the size of the light fixture is a little on the smaller size, but it still looks stunning attached to our home.

Very sensitive to motion! Love how it is dimly lit with a nice soft glow after dark but goes full throttle when motion is detected. Casts light across a broad swathe. It lights up much entire 15 x 30 deck. Happy with it so far but I live in a cold climate, so we'll see how it holds up in the weather. I like that the light bulb is protected under a glass dome and the metal cage. Much nicer than most of the "motion" lights out there. Made a very cute addition to my farm but it was a little pricey. Delivery was very fast!

The light stopped working after a year and a half. It was installed under an eave so was not directly exposed to sun and precip. The bulb was fine and the light was getting power. Replaced it with a different brand light.The light looks coastal/nautical and the motion detection works well. Note, however that it is on the smallish side, and because of the position of the motion sensor on top, it will likely not be effective if the light is installed very high. Furthermore, LED bulbs do not work, and the glass cover is too small to accept a full sized incandescent bulb; it must be a short/small incandescent bulb. Finally, the glass and metal are on the thin side, and it's difficult to get the glass and cage attached. We paid about $50, which is too much considering its design limitations, so-so build quality, and short lifespan.

Questionable LED compatibility (see below)As I try to use LED bulbs whenever possible, I purchased A15 LED bulbs for installation (Grimaldi Lighting LED Bulb, 3 Pack, 5 Watts, 450 Lumens, A15 Style Bulb, Soft White, Dimmable, 40W Equivalent). Previous reviews mention success with LEDs and initially these bulbs worked well, however after prolonged activation, the light would not not shut off. On the test mode, the light would turn off then immediately turn back on although without any ambient motion. To be sure, I covered the motion sensor and still had the same results. The only other warning noted in the instructions is to look for close sources of heat to which the light may have been installed in close proximity (AC units, BBQs, etc). None noted. My last thought was that maybe the LED was producing too much heat that may be activating the unit. A switch back to my old incandescent bulb 2 min later and problem solved. Not sure if it is all LEDs, maybe just the 5 watt version or maybe it is an electronic issue beyond my knowledge. I am curious if other users have had this issue.Either way, I am very happy with this product in aesthetic and eventually established function. (sans LED bulb)

Love love love this light. I wanted a side door light but not one that annoys the neighbors at night and this is perfect for that. Probably not bright enough for a front door but for a accent light there’s non better. A few things I want to point out based on other reviews1. The lamp absolutely DOES work with a dimmable LED bulb. Has to be an A15 base. Stays on dim until detected motion then goes bright and returns to dim a couple min later.2. The motion range works the full 180° where I have it mounted on the side of the house3. The only time it didn’t work was when outside temps went below 0° but as soon as it warmed up, it started working again4. There’s some complaints about the dim timer not working correctly. There’s a couple different settings on the motion (set with the wall switch) and the instructions are a little vague so here’s the simple explanation: turn the wall switch off for 20 sec then turn back on. This resets the the settings and it’ll work just fine

These aren't cheaply made lights. They are well-constructed with pretty tight tolerances. We bought 3 of these lights, and now that we've worked through the bulb issues, are very pleased with them.As other reviewers have mentioned, the bulbs have 3 main constraints:1. They can't be more than about 3.75 inches long max, measured from the contact stud at the bottom of the base to the top of the glass bulb. Any longer and you won't be able to use the light's glass globe.2. They require E26 (medium) base type bulbs. A15 refers to the bulb shape, which is much less critical than the base type for these lights.3. Some claim to be able to use lower wattage LED bulbs, specifically the Grimaldi LED bulbs. The Grimaldi LED bulbs mentioned did not work for me at all. I ended up using incandescent 60 watt, medium (E26) base, A15 bulb shape, 570 lumen appliance bulbs that are 3.25 inches long. Your mileage may vary.They have high, medium and low settings for the motion sensors, and 2 & 6 minute on times when motion is sensed. There is also a Dawn-to-dusk setting.
