Had to buy 2 of these to help my 90 year old mother after a knee operation. They were just what she needed and she especially liked the lid (she's a stickler for putting the lid down before each flush!) Easy to fit and take off again when her knee and flexibility had recovered. Good product. Recommended!

This study product makes transfer from a wheelchair very safe and easy (just make sure that you choose the correct height).I have given the product 4 stars, as one of the hinges on the lid snapped after only a couple of weeks. It was clearly a fault during manufacture. One reason I don’t like giving reviews soon after taking delivery. You generally need to use the product for a few weeks to see if the marketing hype lives up to the practical use of often Chinese made ‘tat’. You get what you pay for…

This mobility aid is fabulous. It fits easily and securely on to existing toilet bowl. You can leave existing toilet seat in situ or remove. Basically it raises toilet 4 inches to aid ease of use.

Necessary for post-op knee surgery. Nicely designed and not chunky like some designs can be. A lid too!

This is a great item compared to the ones supplied by local Councils and the NHS physio-psychologists it is cleaner in looks, includes a lid and is just a much better-looking design. The fact that it is better than others does not make it great though it is still an eyesore as it fits onto the rim leaving the old seat and cover standing up behind it. For people with mobility problems or disabilities, it does what it is intended to do. The only physical problem is for able-bodied males who wish to urinate as the "target" area when this is fitted is very narrow. I think most people will know what this means and it can lead to an increase in cleaning.This is not perfect but it is still the best I have managed to find and will do the job until I can get a plumber to install a new taller toilet to negate the need for this raised seat.

I took a risk when buying this as user comments on a similar product seemed to suggest it wouldn't fit a D-shaped toilet; however I am pleased to be able to confirm that it fits mine just fine! There is a little bit of overlap (or in this case protrusion) where the seat doesn't quite match the shape of the pan underneath, but is has locked on well enough and feels safe and secure during use. Purchased for my elderly mother in law to use when visiting and easily lifts on and off when not in use.
