High quality and loud 🙌
Really like them. E string is quite thick but otherwise they preform really well! However they're slightly slippery which I didn't entirely prefer but overall worth the purchase

This is not genuine Elixir
This is not 'Bronze' elixir string and the quality is awful. It doesn't even sound like new strings. The old strings that I just removed had a lot more tone and ring to them after 4 months of playing. I have been using genuine Bronze nanoweb Elixir for ages. As seen in the picture (with the old one removed) even the colour of the new set is not bronze - it's a kind of light yellowish colour. I'm very disappointed. I have already put them on my guitar and cannot ask for a refund, but it's not about money, it's about the fact that I can never know if I may receive genuine strings when I order in future. This is very disappointing.

REALLY GOOD SOUNDING
okay so basically I always had in my head that a guitar is a guitar, strings are strings, a capo is a capo - it doesn't matter how good quality or expensive the guitar and add on's are : what makes the guitar sound good is the player. and I do believe that to a certain extent. I've had my guitar for about 3 years now - it's a really cheap martin smith one for about £70 I think it was. I bought some neon guitar strings which were fitted on and ive had that ever since, but every time I played my guitar my fingers would KILL but I play quite regularly so it shouldn't be happening and the guitar always sounded off. anyway I was at my friends house and I started playing her guitar, its an aria which costed about £200 , I sounded like 10x better, and that wasn't to do with my ability - it was the guitar. the strings were effortless to hold down and honestly my playing skills were so much better. a couple days later I went on amazon and decided to buy some new strings for my guitar and chose these. I heard really good reviews and all the pros use them. I put them on my guitar today. this is an honest opinion : they amazing quality, they fit so nicely on my guitar and my guitar is the cheapest one out there - they secure really tight in the pegs as well so you know theyre not going anywhere - playing guitar now is so much easier but also I sound so much better just from a simple change of the strings, so I do really recommend them! like go for these instead of the pack for 0.99 I see you looking at haha. I have only had these for one day so I don't know about what they'll sound like after etc. but for now seriously happy and it was worth the money :)

Very Stringy
Great strings. just fitted them. No problems. I do not understand why people say they do not sound crisp. They sound just as crisp as the D'addario's i was previously using. They do not come in the little anti corrosive packets though. Which d'addarios do come in. I'll update my review on how long these bad boys keep their tone. The previous strings were on my guitar for around 4 months.I use the yellow pick here: Dunlop Tortex - Standard Plectrum Set (Pack of 6) - 0.5 - 1.14 mm I recomend you use this on your strings after playing, and before to take care of your strings. You can also put this on your fretboard when you change strings to take care of it. one of The Best guitar strings you can get
first of all, let me say that all the negative reviews, especially about the quality and longevity of these strings, is ridiculous I've been using this brand for the past 15+yrs now the reason for that is due to my highly corrosive sweat and if I use anything other than these strings I usually play for about 2weeks before they start to rust and lose their tone no to mention that they easily snap. while using these strings I can go without replacing easy 6moths normally I replace every 1 or 2 depending on the gauge that I use. so all those reviews that say the strings went bad after only 10 days of use is just straight-up lies as my last Elixir purchase was back in 15th January 2018 that's 3 YEARS AGO.If you want a great quality string with great tone than I Highly recommend you give them a try and you won't be disappointed

Bright crisp sound with volume for coated strings, but...
Obviously when considering guitar strings for an acoustic guitar, you have to take into account the construction of the guitar because this affects the characteristics of the strings, such as volume, tone etc. Whilst reading this review, please bare in mind that I purchased these to use on my 1995 Washburn J28 Cumberland jumbo acoustic guitar which has a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. On my guitar these strings are surprisingly clear and crisp / bright for a coated string. They are also quite loud too. They have a smooth feel to them which I guess is down to the coating. For people who only play guitar occasionally, they are not punishing on the fingers. I would be tempted to give these strings a 5 star rating, however after only a few weeks of being on my guitar the G sting has discoloured slightly over the 2nd fret. It doesn't feel rough like it would if it was corrosion, but there is a definite discolouration. Maybe this is down to these strings having the light coating out of the strings by Elixir, but if they were the more heavily coated strings, they would have a quieter and more duller sound. I may have just been unlucky and received a set with a string where something went wrong during the coating process. Does the discolouration of the G string affect how it plays and sounds? No it doesn't but it makes me feel that these strings won't last as long as I would expect.
