Very detailed and heavy!
They are a bit expensive but my son loves animals! So these were a part of his Christmas gifts and he loves them! They are worth it. They will last a long time and they actually all stand up!

Very high quality, realistic-looking animals
Volnau is a hit with our grandkids. Their toy animals are a high quality plastic that will last. Their molds are very realistic and the process seems done to tight tolerances. The hand painting is the "wow" factor -- they consistently look like the animal, a place where some other products fail.The nit is price. You can get cheaper products, in both senses of the word. So it's a trade-off. If your child wants numbers and you are on a budget, there are other choices. But if you want realism and quality, it's hard to do better.
