Q: Are the CYA readings accurate? That's my current issue as I'm getting differences w/strip tests vs. Taylor. Thinking of getting this instead.

Yes, I have found this to be accurate or close reading to those from the pool store.

Q: Does this kit measure salt content in a salt water pool accurately?

The standard kit I purchased DID NOT contain test strips to measure salt content. You need to buy it separate I presume.

Q: Does it work for hot tubs?

Yes it works with hot tubs. It comes with all the different test strips needed. I use with saltwater ing pool and a 6 ft Softub, jacuzzi.
