Just the light bulbs I needed
I just moved into a new rental, and was concerned because this fixture in particular was flashing/flickering no matter which A19 size of bulb I installed from the ones I had. I contacted the landlord, and she suggested I try incandescent bulbs. I bought the 25W, and these light bulbs did the trick. I have a functional fixture again! I love the warm soft glow, compared to the harsh light from LED bulbs. Excellent value for the money.

These are the safest lights to be using. LED lights are injurious for us. They flicker, which we cannot see, and they are responsible for migraines, headaches, dizziness, and even seizures. The bad guys want us to not be healthy, so they banned these old time lights.

Terrible packaging and low quality
I read the reviews warning of the dimness and the likelihood that some of the bulbs would arrive broken and ordered them anyway. To be honest, I thought some reviewers may be comparing the illumination with the newer brighter bulbs (which give me headaches which is why I still seek out the incandescent variety.) I ordered two packages - each with 2 bulbs. 1 of the 4 bulbs was shattered with broken glass all over the envelope. Why would light bulbs in thin cardboard boxes be packaged in a soft sided envelope? That seems insane. Of course bulbs are going to break. I tested the ones which were not broken in a chandelier with other 60 watt incandescent bulbs and the difference in brightness was striking. These are definitely dimmer. I know it's tough to find incandescent bulbs now, but I wouldn't buy these again.

Correct size for garage door opener. Correct wattage.
We had to have 2 bulbs, but the instructions for the wattage. I ordered the correct size.

Broken Bulb
Got my light bulbs today. One of the bulbs in the 2 pack were broken. I suggest buy 2 packs of2 in case this happen to you. I needed 2 bulbs but ordered 3 packs just in case.

Bulbs blow after 1 hour
I have purchased 4 of these globes, I used 2 and they both only lasted more or less an hour then died.I will test the remaining 2 bulbs on a lamp connected to "clean power" to see if they last longer.For the duration that they did work, the light was bright and warm.
