HERUIO Lemon Squeezer Manual

This item did not fully live up to my expectations, as it was not as effective in extracting the maximum amount of juice. After using it, I was still able to extract more juice by simply squeezing the lemon.

After 4 months of use it blew up in my hand without warning and in the process wounded my finger. Luckily nothing else was damaged, since flying metal debris is a very dangerous thing.Primarily used it to juice lemons and limes, which is its advertised purpose. After the first couple of weeks the levering mechanism started to squeak so I oiled it a little bit to save myself from the headache inducing screeching. Other than that I have done nothing to it other than use it. Rinsed it off after every use like told in the instructions, and after 4 months of this it went boom in my hand.Either the materials used or the construction of this product is shoddy, either way save your money and look for something else.

You know when you think you "need" something but then you convince yourself you don't really need it, it's just a gadget you'll never use?Well, I've put off buying a citrus squeezer for years and years, thinking it would just be another gadget taking up space in my cupboards, or that it would be gimmicky and not work.MAN! This WORKS! BRILLIANTLY!Wish I'd gotten this years ago.Slice your lemon in half, put it in, squeeze the juice out, open it and tip the empty lemon half in the bin. Done.It's very sturdy as well, and feels heavy in a good way if you know what I mean.And I just chuck it in the dishwasher when I'm done.

So pleased to have bought this little squeezer. It does require a certain amount of manual strength to use it, but believe me when I say it does get the juice out of citrus fruit. I rinse it under the tap after use, and then weekly give it a more thorough wash with soap (to deal with citrus oil build-up). But it's encouraged me to drink water with some fresh juice added. Oh, and I have no doubts about the sturdiness of the device - the metal is quite thick and the hinge strong.

First thing I noticed when this arrived was its shiny finish spoilt by rust spots, yes that’s right it arrived rusty so much for made with stainless steel that does not rust!! More like cheap metal zinc coated as there are small pots in the zinc coat where the rust is showing.
