Excellent resource for an ELSA or SEN teaching assistant
I have set mine out slightly different to the instructions as I’m not planning on having the entire class use this, but a group of children who need extra help understanding emotional awareness. So I’ve got the emojis on the top line and then the appropriate emotions for those children in the rest of the pockets. I will get the children to design their own little people when we get back to school and I’ll keep them in a pot on my desk and by the chart. I have a feeling that once they see one child using it, most of the class will want to be involved too! I want to use the periods of registration then after playtimes and lunch to check in with those children. It’s also a visible resource if anyone wants to talk privately then they can pop their person in the “I need to talk to someone” pocket. I love the children’s faces on the cards to match their emotions as this will give clues to how other children are also feeling and hopefully promote empathy as well. Really looking forward to seeing this in use in our classroom.

Great for kids
A great way for kids to learn about different emotions and express themselves too. It is fun way to show how kids sre feeling via the cute wooden stick which they can write their name on and my daughter can express how she feels i do the same with her too. It is a good learning skill for kids.

Fantastic educational aid in learning emotions
An excellent learning resource! We use this at home for both of our children who have autism. Emotions have always been difficult for them to understand and express how they are feeling each day. This feelings pocket chart has been a fantastic help and has helped our children learn new skills. This would also be ideally perfect for the classroom environment. It’s very easy to use and follow, the quality is fantastic and the price is good. I highly recommend

Nice big lolly sticks for those that struggle with fine motor
Just as the pictures and description. I liked how the people shaped lolly pop sticks are large so easier for children that struggle with fine motor.Lovely bright cards with some blank to create your own. Very useful resource for any Primary classroom or ELSA.

Fantastic tool for encouraging talk about emotions
This is a playful way to get my kids to discuss and identify emotions. This is so important in helping them regulate their own emotions, by recognising what they're feeling and exploring why.

what a fab idea
This is a really fab idea!My daughter is autistic but shes not quite at the age where this works but ill be donating it to the sen school we hope she will go to and im sure this will be helpful there! Its really hard when our kids cant tell us how they feel without showing it in someway but they cant be misunderstood , this helps kids communicate easily once they learn how it works.I also think its a good ideas for schools that arent additional needs, it could help the quieter children express their feelings so a teacher is aware and can speak with them,

Learning Resources expressions/emotions
