This light is very well made and has a clean and professional look. It can be placed on a dimmer if you wish to. It has easy to follow instructions for those of us whose not used to doing light electric work. Great buy 😊

I've had these in brushed nickel at my last house and black at my current house. They look great and are excellent quality. The rods and fishing the wires through them gave me some trouble but honestly I was pretty drunk when I installed these so it might've been a "me problem" so not going to dock any stars. If you're sober and patient I'm sure it'll be fine.

During my total kitchen renovation, I was searching for a stylish but understated pendant lamp to hang over my kitchen sink. When I saw this fixture I knew I had discovered the right one. The simple design and brushed steel finish work beautifully. I especially also like the fact that it comes with various pole extensions so you can adjust it to the perfect height. The picture tells it all. I am a very satisfied customer.

I put four of these pendants in my kitchen which I was trying to update. We painted the center island and wanted to bring out the stainless steel hood and appliances with a stainless steel-look light pendant. These are really attractive and the way the light is distributed from the recesses in the pendant makes them bright while easy on the eye. I shopped these pretty hard and was looking for an affordable version of the designer pendants found in high end catalogues. A couple of other advantages: These pendants weigh enough to hold the line taut so they almost look like they are suspended from metal rods or cables. These pendants have an industrial look (we love the screws showing) while being actually quite pretty. In addition, the height is generous so you have all kinds of options for bulbs.

These lights fit our application well, we installed two of them over an island area of our kitchen. Our ceiling is sloped so the ability to adjust the hanging height was crucial. To adjust the cord length you first remove a plastic screw installed in the ceiling cover piece, they provide a small screwdriver to do this. Like other reviewers my plastic screws stripped out, just throw them away, you don't really need them. I then pulled the cord through the cover until I got the length I wanted and and used the plastic cord stop to hold the cord at the proper length, these seem cheep but actually work quite well, I cut the cord leaving plenty of length to work with. I then carefully stripped back some of the insulation to expose the inner wires so I could make the connection. At first it looked like the individual wires were not insulated but they are with a clear covering. Look closely and you will see that one of the wires has a green string, this is your ground wire, it doesn't really matter on the other two wire which goes to black and white. We really like the looks of these lights and would recommend them to a friend, also, they shipped quickly!

Gorgeous if you are looking for a modern style lamp. I bought three. There are a few drawbacks:1. There is no down rod. The lamp hangs by the cord, which looks cheap to me (I posted a photo with and without and trust me the difference is more striking in person.) This would have been a deal breaker, but I just bought a 6' stainless steel tube, cut it in 3 equal pieces and made 3 stainless down rods. They look great and match perfectly. Amazon sells the tubes here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XN7SM8 These just barely fit the cords.2. As another reviewer remarked you can see the phillips screws inside the unit when you look at it from above eye level (e.g. always). I wish they used a different type of fastener, or at least decorative thumb screws. This was not a deal breaker, but as soon as I find a nice set of thumbscrews, I'll replace the phillips screws. (You need 15 per lamp.)3. The cords are held snug (when you shorten them) using tiny nylon screws. In all three cases the screws disintegrated when I tried to adjust them. The company replaced them for me happily (so 5 stars for that) but hopefully they will get this issue solved. (Maybe include a replacement screw or two in each package.)4. You have black white and green wires as usual. However notice that the black, white and green colors only go until the wires enter the cord. (I suppose this is so you don't see the colored wires inside the cord when it is hanging--another good reason for the down rods!) The problem is, if you decide to shorten the cords by cutting them (and not stuffing them into your ceiling--my ceiling is concrete and there wasn't room) you're going to need a continuity tester to determine which wire is which after you make the cut.

These were relatively easy to install. Every wiring situation can be different, but if you just follow the directions and evaluate your previous wiring it should be straight forward to figure out. I contacted the company for one minor question and they were as helpful as one could expect. Most companies will not give you wiring advice because they are not certified electricians in your area and also cannot see your current wiring so it should be expected they will only give general advice due to liability.The wife really likes the look of the lights so far. It gives a very high end, modern look at a great price compared to other lights we considered. The company was really responsive and provided great customer service so I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars.
