Hose holds liquids
I had a very similar unit with a silicone hose that worked so much better than this. The hose on this urinal is a flexible accordion design. That makes it hold liquid. Even if you try to wash it and rinse it it still holds liquid. It's impossible to get all of the liquid out of the hose. My old one had a silicone hose that would come clean almost instantly. I just walked hoses and I'm using this one now. The rest of the urinal seems to be well made. Just the hose is really long and holds liquid and actually kind of causes a backup.

Female piece is too hard for a woman to use
The female plastic piece is extremely hard for a woman to use. Could scratch sensitive areas. Made more for males

Good to have on long-drives, with a bit of mindfulness
Design has great provisions for a wider range of "universal fit" across different users. Shape of the large-capacity receptacle may be bulky, but it provides a stable stationary position, especially in small spaces like a car, where you wouldn't it toppling or flipping over with the flexibility of its hose. There are no leaks along the hose or its junctions, but potential fluid buildup/backup is largely dependent on the elevation and positioning of the entire hose during use. This can be a bit of a challenge in a vehicle with the usual center consoles and limited space; but is still is much better than nothing when nature calls on a long drive at night, or in the middle of nowhere. In any case, the blue inlet-part has to be slightly tilted downward into the hose at all times during use; AND then finally raised (when done) to ensure all liquid in the hose drains completely into the receptacle/tank before setting aside. Otherwise, any liquid in the hose can flow back out of the inlet when you put it down and leave i - giving you an unexpected "post-use" mess! The hose can be cut/shortened if one wishes and simply interfaces with the inlet by simple leak-proof insertion; but I have opted to retain the full hose length as a flexible provision for use in any vehicle size/configuration, which I may be driving for more than 6 hours.Plastic material of the receptacle/tank is overall sturdy, but avoid any dents or deformations on it as the creases can cause an irrepairable leak.

Leakproof and Easy
This is not for the squeamish. My bladder isn't shy. I can go outside if I need to. But the female topography isn't exactly conducive to pinpoint accuracy. If you have ever done a clean catch, you know this: liquid follows strange paths sometimes over hills and valleys.Gross.I know. This is set up to make sure you don't spill a drop. AND it has an attachment that makes it work for the other anatomy as well. This makes it better and easier than carrying one of each.
