It's quite simple, but this makes WDT a breeze and has cut down on my wasted shots. The tines are fine enough to break up your grounds without pushing too much around, and I love the wood handle/stand! Could you use a cork and a few fine needles? Sure, but this just feels good to hold and use, looks good with the setup, and will last longer. So go for it!

I love this tool, but wish the metal prongs were slightly thinner. I'm not sure if it's me and the size of my bean grind, but I find that these medal prongs don't distribute the grounds as easily as I expected. They push the grounds more than they distribute them them up and don't really prevent channeling like they should. I plan to keep it, as it works more than not having a distributor and is pretty, but caution other buyers to try to find one with thinner prongs.

A distribution tool doesn't have to be fancy, the guy that "invented" it continues to use a keyboard key cap puller. That said this thing is simple, easy to use, and attractively designed. It does the job just fine.

This little guy works really well for breaking up and leveling your ground coffee before you start the brewing process. Just use it carefully so as not to push a bit of coffee over the edge. I prefer the 4 pin version sine it is easier for me to use.

This is a great little espresso prep tool. It does a good job of breaking up any clumps of coffee prior to tamping, helping to eliminate channeling. I would recommend a portafilter funnel to help contain the grounds when you use this tool. It could be messy without one.It is well made and nice looking. I keep it near my espresso machine all the time ready for use.

I bought it very hesitantl thinking it was just like all the rest of them, But what I got in the mail surprised me it was well made the metal rods are very thin but not too thin. It breaks upclumps and reduces channelingextremely well, Overall this is the bestWDT stirrer I've ever owned.PS: I've owned it for a few weeks, And I'm even happier that I bought it now. Buy this item quickly before the sellers realize how good it is and increase the price.
