My favorite rose-pink color! Paired with darker lip liner, it’s gorgeous and pretty lasting. I reapply a couple times during day but drink a lot of water & talk a lot. I’d recommend for olive tan skin!

The price went from $6 something to $11 something overnight. The quality is there along with the shade. However, what a price hike.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick!!! It stays on my lips for a good while, doesn't smear once it dries, (which only takes about 10-15 seconds to dry)....Other lipsticks come right off (in my experience at least) like after a decent kiss, eating a simple snack etc.But this lipstick stays on a good while. I don't have to re-apply it 10 times a day, unlike all other lip colors. I do however have to "touch-it-up" after eating a lot of food. Just adding im examples so you can know what to expect.And while this is one of my all time favorite lipsticks, let me just say this:This isn't something I'm sure a "rich celebrity" would buy (not stereotyping here but just read on). The reason I say that is because YES the lipstick stays on for a while and doesn't smudge very easy BUT.....it's not like some dang glue that will just stick on your lips all day. Lol. I'm sure celebrities spend like $100 on some high end make up. But to most of us "Average People", I personally can't afford high end makeup, so in my opinion, this lip color is the next best thing.So, yes it stays on good but I definatelely wouldn't go on a first date and after your meal (especially if it's greasy o messy food) expect it to still look perfect ;)Overall, I still love it. It's cheap for how beautiful it is, the scent is amazing, the wand is wonderful and the lipstick is just silky and soft.And yes it is Matte color.Reason I gave it 4 stars is NOT because it won't stay on after eating etc but reason for the 4 stars is because they don't carry my color on Amazon:(So I ordered a darker color, which I hate the color. Blah.Please Amazon, come out with all of the other shades of this item to choose from!Overall though from 1 out of 10, I'd give these a 8 or 9. To sum it up: they're very nice, silly smooth, don't rub off near as easy as other lipsticks AND the smell is....ahhhhhh, smells so good.:)

I know some people hate this because it's not a true matte. It's not a kiss proof matte. It's really more like a satin, and after it sets a little can and still wear off, but it's not part of the ColorStay line so I'll forgive it a little for that. However, it smells amazing and looks like silk on your lips. It's not drying, and it makes my lips feel nice and plump, and hydrated. I don't know why it's called HD Matte, because it really should be Satin. Either way, I liked it so much I ended up buying 12 tubes in just about every color in the line.All in all, these are great and I think people should give them a try, even if it's not a budge proof true matte. I know there are some people out there that really hate this line and this finish, but Revlon, hear me out guys. I am not one of those people. I live in and love your lipsticks. You should have me be your PR for this line and the ColorStay, because I live and breathe this line and wear it EVERY DAY. And please bring back your original Colorstay formulas from the late 90s and early 2000s. I miss the Moccachino and Fruit Punch, and the original Nude colors you had.

The media could not be loaded. Update: I got a few more colors, so I swatched them all. I probably should have just stuck with the first two that I had because those are still my favorites.left to right they are: devotion, (brighter pink than in picture.) Embrace, ( peachy, nude) forever (brownish nude,) love, (orangey red) kisses, (mauve) and spice, (red/brown)I found that if you use a very light layer, it blends with your own coloring and just tints your lips and I can use colors I wouldn’t normally be able to. For example, I’m cool/neutral and wouldn’t be able to wear it embrace or forever but since a light layer is sheer, it just blends with my coloring and looks like a light nude or darker nude. They tend to stain your lips a little which I like, so if they have warn off, you keep a little of the color.I have them in spice and kisses. In the video spice is on top, kisses is the bottom one and I’m wearing kisses in the picture. They are both good colors for every day if you want something medium toned.They have a bit of a sweet smell and stay a soft mouse consistency. If you eat or drink, you can just pat your lips together and even the color back out without having to reapply it.I would suggest using a lip liner to define your lips since the applicator and consistency don’t do that well on their own. That really was the only downside I saw, which isn’t a big deal at all!

I hope Revlon doesn't discontinue them because I did not find them in my local stores. The colors are vibrant, and the lipstick does not dry my lips. I have tried other brands and because they are supposed to last all day, my lips get so dry that they begin chapping. I recommend this lipstick. Good quality for the price.
