I have a docking station at work that I love, as I can use 2 monitors at once, as well as plug in a mouse, keyboard and iphone charger (html). So I bought one for home. I wasn't able to figure out exactly which level of docking station I had at work (even after talking to IT), so I matched up the brand and back side ports, and ordered this one. It's still a great docking station, and I'm able to use at home, but for some reason when I plug in all of the same things as I do at work, it won't let me charge my phone while working from home (the html port is there, but when I actually plug my phone in, it gives me an error that it can't support that much). I'm not sure if it's a dock issue, or maybe my electricity, but was a little disappointing.

I felt wierd giving thickness five stars when the dock is pretty petite with my T560 perched on it. Works great and all that, and is definitely not too small. It's a great value by itself, and but the Pro dock comes with an OE Lenovo 90W PSU and IMO that's not reflected in the price. You can't buy an OE 65/90/130W PSU for this price so IMO very happy to say the least.There were some shipping issues and the seller REALLY came through to make sure I got the dock. I appreciate that a lot!

I must admit, I just connected all my components last week, so hopefully my review isn't too premature, but so far I haven't seen anything not to love. I have a new Lenovo T450 laptop and it pops in and out easier than any other Lenovo dock I've used in the past. I have a home office, but do travel to corporate sites, so taking it on the run and redocking when I return it is easier than previous dock models. The laptop seats nicely when pushing it onto the dock. I attached a printer, router lan connection, external speakers, a camera and I have two monitors connected via an IOGear adapter cable (so only using the VGA port of the dock). I bought a wireless keyboard & mouse to keep some USB slots open and I have to say, everything is working like a charm. The buzzing previous reviewers had must've been corrected in subsequent batches, and I don't have any issue with video flickering (maybe b/c I'm only using the one port?) So far, very happy with this dock!

First off this was considerably cheaper than the one on the Lenovo site, and it’s the exact same dock.Second, as a teacher this is great for when I take my laptop to place then come back to the room and plug in. I have my projector, printer, 10 key, and speakers plugged into the dock.Third, if you need to charge then just placing this onto the dock is excellent. It came with its own charger as well which is identical to the one with your laptop.

Everything good except I could not get the screen timeout to allow my external display to sleep after the time set for idle timeout. Used Lenovo T460S and tried both DVI and DP ports for main monitor and RGB for secondary monitor. Checked drivers, firmware, rebooted many times, played with other settings and could not get it to timeout; nor could my IT expert. Just switching to the higher model Ultra Dock resolved the issue instantly! Don't know if the issue was specific to my particular unit or laptop / monitor combination??? Anyway, everything else was fine, product delivered on time in factory sealed box. Based on my problem though, I'd recommend to spend a little extra and upgrade to the Ultra Dock. Not much more, a bit more flexible on display options (DVI can be used for the secondary monitor instead of just RGB, for example), and perhaps less chance of a timeout problem. Thanks to Amazon for accepting the return based on my issue!
