I've never bought a keyboard protector before but when I purchased my new MacBook I wanted to keep it nice and protected. I unfortunately don't have any knowledge for what a keyboard protector should feel and look like but I am satisfied with this purchase. I bought this one after many hours of researching and combing through reviews. I finally landed on this one after hearing the complications with silicone covers and many others. Some said they were too sticky or not sticky enough, had to push harder than usual, made it difficult to type, or warped. Well this one fits perfectly for my MacBook Air m4. No sticky keys, warping, pushing too hard, or compromising my typing. I went with the tinted as many reviews said that was the way to go if you have a black keyboard. I will say they need a little bit of breaking in and it's genuinely like I don't have a cover on it. I am also a fast typer and a college student that writes many papers and takes a ton of notes.I know some people care about the visibility of the keyboard. I have attached pictures but you can definitely tell it mutes the keyboard pretty significantly. This isn't a problem for me but figured I would add it for those that do care.The cover also stays in place without the need for tape or an adhesive.Overall, I am pretty impressed because I was going to fear I hated it. I love the feeling of typing on a Mac so this does take away from that aspect a little bit. It's to be expected though it's an unfortunate tradeoff. You can always take it off and type without it if you really want to though.

I've been using keyboard covers for most of the laptops I've owned over the years, for additional protection of minor spills and avoiding dirt and debris. When I purchased my MacBook Pro in Space Black I loved the keyboard but I could not stand how even after a very brief time spent typing my keyboard showed fingerprints all over it. It's not like I'm eating Cheeto's and typing, I'm talking even after washing with an alcohol wipe my fingerprints were all over the keyboard no matter what. My biggest gripe about my MacBook is I've never had a computer that attracted as much smudges/fingerprints/dust as the Space Black model. I like the color but it's horrible in that regard. This keyboard cover was an inexpensive way to avoid my keys looking like I smothered oil on them every time I pressed a key.

The keyboard cover is perfect. I bought MacBook Air 3 weeks ago and just have been obsessing over the finger prints on the keys. The cover fits in seamlessly and doesn’t interfere with typing. Really great product.

it's a good cover. protects effectively against oils and dust. it is clear which allows you to see the keyboards well. I didn't need the adhesive for it to stay in place but it has the stickers. The typing is not as responsive as without it, but it's still good.

This is definitely true as advertised. I can’t even tell that the cover is there and it’s definitely protecting my mac from dust. It was also very easy to install with no stickiness.

Best keyboard cover I’ve ever owned. Minimal deterioration, change in chape, and staining after years of use. I’ve bought multiple other ones brands before that all started to get floppy after a few months. Bought two for our old laptops and another two now for our new ones. Really hope they stay around so I never have to find a new go to.

This product works perfectly without need for additional adhesives. I tried another one that was less expensive by a few dollars, but it's lit around and required adhesive to maintain its position. I find this keyboard skin to be worth the money.

Fits great over keyboard of the model A3403, 2024, 16-inch MacBook Pro. While not a touch typist, I find that I am able to move quickly over the keyboard as I type. Unlike poorer quality covers and those made of thicker plastic, I have not yet experienced missing characters because I didn't apply enough pressure to a key as a result of having the cover on the keyboard. Also, I have not had any problem with touch id because the opening in the on the power-button/key for fingerprint reading is fine.
