This TV tuner does feature a RF-In connector. As such, it can connect to a RF source device; this would include consoles.

Q: How to hook up your own TV recorder

If your hooking up VCR you would connect it to video input and if you have cable or antenna connect to RFN. this is what I found out calling their toll free number at 800-688-6688. Hope this helps.

Q: does it have a hdmi output?

It has D-SUB(RGB), S-Video and Composite outputs, but no HDMI.
