Worked great in no time at all
Out of the box review. Was ready to run in minutes. Ran it on our 12’ x 15’ area rug and was impressed with the auto mode operation. I was pleased with how light and easy it was to handle. Carpet was barely damp when done and looked significantly cleaner. So far, happy with the purchase and glad there was a good option avoid throwing more money at another piece of Bissel or Hover junk

Performance unequaled
This most amazing carpet cleaner is only towered by Tinecos customer service and elegance. This elegant chic demon of dirt is my little miracle! The only reason why I purchased it is because I purchased the multi surface mop. That mop is so unbelievable. It freaked me out a little bit so I decided to add to my new family that makes me look good. It’s good to feel clean. On that note,I don’t know how they do it, but may floors have never been so clean and shiny. I live in humidity and nothing is ever shiny unless you pay attention 100% of the time and I can’t believe it, but my floors are shiny!I work for a luxury company. Every detail is scrutinized and rarely applauded. Thank you for your quality attention to detail courtesy and authenticity of character. This is not based on one interaction with this company it has been several. I applaud you, Tineco I will be a loyal supporter

Avoid this one unless you're looking for a disposable appliance
Wirecutter definitely has this one wrong. We purchased this unit in January 2024 following Wirecutter's recommendation and used it three or four times to clean a single room's wall-to-wall carpet. When it worked, it did a decent job extracting dirt, pet hair (not picked up by our vacuum), and pet smells from the carpet. Not as well as a professional cleaner but good enough. If cleaned meticulously after each use, I expected it would last for a while (it’s not a Bissell Big Green Machine but I didn’t expect it to be in that level of greatness). Alas, the unit stopped working and the nightmare began. I followed the same steps as before, but the on/off switch was not working. I contacted customer service - on the phone at first but then via email (we're now well over 20 messages into this experience) - and after they determined that I had a valid warranty claim, I had to disassemble and pack the unit (note to buyers: keep original box and packing materials or you'll end up spending your own money to repack it when the inevitable warranty claim happens) and take it to a UPS location. A few weeks went by and we received the “repaired” unit. (1) the handle was so badly damaged that it needed to be replaced, and (2) even with the new handle the unit still did not work. As an aside, we were told the handle was damaged during shipping but after opening the box I couldn’t see how that was even possible given how the individual components were packed. Contacted customer service again and was asked for a video to show the malfunction (a fair request but an additional investment of time) and now… “Following our assessment of the issue with your machine, we have determined that a repair is necessary…” Please indicate your acceptance of the repair plan and we’ll send the 19 steps you need to follow to return it to us. Also, our repair facility is being upgraded so it’ll take longer. May the odds be ever in your favor.Another aside, I think the customer service function is not manned by real humans but instead is AI. It’s all scripted, AI is incrementally almost free for the company, and one of AI's main goals is to make it really hard for buyers to resolve issues in a favorable way. We’ll continue following the rules – they have our $500, we have no other option, and who knows how this saga will end; I will report back to you, my faithful review readers – but I’m preparing myself for disappointment similar in feeling to the end of my first high school romantic relationship and will no longer use Wirecutter for any recommendations over $25 (pre-tariff prices). Run, do not walk, away from this appliance unless you’re into fiscal masochism or like disposable appliances.

Great Product / No Issues
Great product. Watching the online video reviews made step up and clean up very easy. Cleaned 10 rooms in about four hours with no issues. Great suction, removed most of the water. Drying feature does assist with drying. Carpet was still slightly damp when i finished, but completely dry about 5 hours after application.A few observations: 1) Just use max mode. The eco mode is a waste of time. 2) Used Bissell Pro Max Clean solution to clean the last three rooms and the Bissell solution worked a little better at cleaning than the Tineco solution. I put the bissell solution into the tineco cap to help ensure I didn't use too much solution. 3) Carpet looking better now compared to previous professional cleaning from oxi fresh carpet cleaning service. 4) The cheapest version (icarpet) has the same cleaning capability as the most expensive version (carpet one pro). 5) Plan to use again for annual cleaning, highly recommended.
