Works very well to reject heat
I've used these on a few windows in my house along with the windows on my garage door to reject heat and improve privacy. This film does have a silver reflective color - so you need to make sure that part goes with whatever house decor you have. The film works very well to reduced the heat load. While putting this on the windows (which I recommend doing when the sun isn't shining right through them) you could feel the heat difference once the film was in place.Installation is what it is. It's not difficult, but it's not super easy. The instructions are very clear. You just have to follow them. You will make a bit of a mess with the water/soap mixture as it gets most things pretty wet. Have some towels to dry that up.A super sharp knife is a must.It takes a few days for the water behind the film to evaporate and the view through the film is crystal clear. This is something that you can do DIY, but you have to be patient while doing it. A bad film job (i.e., bubbles) is worse than no film at least visually.Once it's up, it rejects a lot of heat and protects things from UV fading.

Cuts the glare, light, and heat!
First of all, get extra hands. Very clingy to itself. It was a crumpled mess - but we straightened it out. Cuts, the bouncing light and heat from the pool. North facing picture windows - so it's sunny all day long. What a difference. Yes, it's silvery mirrorlike on the outside. Got a couple of wrinkles still, but with a taller ladder, we'll get them out. Sticks easily with blue dishsoap and water. Used squeegees to force the water out. No more intense heat - brightness. Global warming is real! Especially in the dining room! You can still see right from outside at night, with the chandelier on. Not interested in privacy effects, just the sun, glare, and intense heat from 8 feet x 8 feet of designer glass. EXCELLENT.

Overrated and overpriced
For the price of this window film you'd expect a much more intuitive product. Incredibly difficult to apply, SO many bubbles, too time consuming to peel the adhesive part off and not at all easy to apply to the window itself as it's constantly bending and sticking on itself. After a few tries you begin getting used to it but at that point you're nearly out of film already due to small amount provided. The price/quantity of film provided is my primary concern here, it's simply not worth it and would highly recommend not getting this and choosing a more affordable option that provides a similar enough result. Overrated product.

Would recommend
Definitely does the job. Instructions were easy to follow. Make sure you use plenty of application solution or water in my case. This is some sticky stuff otherwise. All in all just a few creases that didn't squeegy out but I did these on the garage windows so that wasn't a big deal to me. I can already tell a reduction in heat in the garage. Would recommend.

Give it a try, works great!
I was skeptical at first but this product really works. You need to read the instructions on how to apply but once you get the flow, it's so simple. The film has helped keep the temperature down in our kids rooms during the summer time. The sun faces our windows for most of the day and this stuff works great. Make sure you apply a lot of liquid between the film and glass. I'll buy again to finish the rest of the house.

Works but a nightmare to install!
The product works well from the perspective of reflecting light and glare and reducing heat entering windows and doors, but it's a nightmare to install. The cutting tool in the kit that you can buy lasts one window cut around and then it's too dull to cut and ends up tearing the film. I ended up having to use a box cutter knife with a new blade for each window not to tear the corners cutting it. All of the corners and edges have to be scraped clean of any paint, water spots, grime, etc...or the film will not stick and it will curl up around the edges and the corners. One has to be extremely careful removing the clear plastic backing from the film that goes on the window or the film will curl and fold on itself and wrinkle and have creases that show when you put it up. It seems like the manufacturer used the lowest quality and minimum adhesive it could...if you touch the corners of the film while putting it up, no matter how well you wash your hands, it affects the adhesive and it will come loose in the corner that you touched. I installed this on 10 windows in my house along the west and south and it really does cut down on the heat transfer but it's painful getting it up! I watched many videos on this product from the other customers and it seems we all had the same problems. I have two more doors to do and I've decided to try a different brand/product to see if it's any easier.

Very "Cool"
This went on easy, no bubble and looks great. I can tell a big difference in the temperature of the room. Was a great buy for us and our electric bill

Work's as respects heat reduction
Installation takes a little patience as expected but is not difficult. The results are better than expected and I am thrilled with the drops in temperature. Our window floor to ceiling windows will get over 100 degrees middle of the day and this has made all the difference. Highly recommended.
