**neither of my dogs are big chewers and the spatula is total rubbish*** but we love it! It's 10 stars for us... But not for everyone.I have 2 dogs, lab mixes sized medium and large. Both love to lick. My larger older dog had surgery and obsessively licked her cone, the floor, dog beds everything. We think she was self soothing by licking. I ordered these to give her an outlet. It ended being more than that. She had a tooth removed and several lump removed, including on a front leg. She's on a soft food diet. She gets these lick mats while she waits for her food to soften, this really helped her anxiety that we forgot to put her bowl down during the time it takes her hard food to soften. She comes back after dinner to lick again as she really likes it. We use canned wet food, the pate style food because both dogs have sensitive stomachs. The mat sticks easily to the side of the cupboard where she eats. I love that it's up on the wall so she does not need to bend over or strain the leg that had surgery. She still licks, but is not so obsessively.My second dog, the younger little one loves it too. Her's is on the floor and she really gets in it. She lays in the floor and goes to town. As I write this review she's licking it.*** The ugly- as I said, the spatula is junk. This is not for the chewer, or with caution with a chewer. They don't wash up easily and even after the dishwasher may have some gunk.... And when we run our kitchen faucet on it when it's flat it makes the water geyser out of the sink and soak us and the floor. It's fine on the side of the sink or submerged... But use caution putting it flat on the bottom of the sink and turning the tap on.

I use these as slow feeders for my cat’s wet food and it works great! Suction cups work well (though I only use mine on hardwood floor). The cute little spatula is very convenient for spreading around the food. Cleaning is a little tedious getting in all the grooves, but it’s not too bad.

My huskies keep busy for 15-20min at a time and it’s great! We freeze coconut on it first and then spread pumpkin and yogurt over that! Works great! Love that it also came with a spatula. Recommend a good brush for washing after.

I just used one of my two-pack Lick Mats for Dogs I was using it as a Slow Feeder Mat, because she usually just gobbles her kibble right down within a very few minutes. She also loves to lick, and this Licking Mat is perfect to allow her to do lots of licking. When I tried it this morning with just a light cover of peanut butter rubbed across all the designed holes in the mat, she took over an hour to eat, and lick, her food and peanut butter off the mat!! I was very pleased to see her enjoy, not only the food, but all the lickin, since she loves licking so much. She is a rescue dog (about 8 lbs and 8 years old), and has serious separation anxiety. She’s getting a little better about us being gone, but she still has much more anxiety Thani would like….since it sometimes causes her to pee and/or poop on the floor while we’re gone, and she is always panting when we get back to her. I’m hopeful that this mat, since she licked it for at least an hour if not more, may provide some distraction and anxiety relief while we’re gone, too. The mat is not very large, but it sure kept her occupied because the concave licking holes are small, and not quickly or easily all licked out. The mat comes with a small (and fairly flimsy) spatula, also, and has suction cups on the bottom, which worked quite well to hold the mat in place as she licked. I’m pretty pleased with this mat, and glad that I have two of them that I can use. I will be even more delighted if it helps calm her when we have to leave her alone for a little while.

First 5/5 for the mat itself. I cover it in peanut butter and put it in the freezer. It works really well at sticking to the ground and giving my puppy something stimulating to do.HOWEVER-I checked and it’s not just me. The top of the spatula is an actual hazard for dogs. It can easily be licked off - that’s right, not bit or pulled off but LICKED.My older dog had licked the PB off it just fine several times and I assumed it would be fine for the puppy. But I can now guess my older girl is a bit more gentle because my puppy straight up licked it off and accidentally swallowed it whole. $4000 dollars in vet bills later to get it removed and there were no teeth marks, meaning that’s exactly how it went down.The surgeon (!!!!) confirmed it is too large and too weird a shape to pass and inducing vomiting is highly unlikely to work. So this is a surgery-level hazard. PLEASE replace it or don’t offer it with the mat at all.

This is great for dogs and cats alike! Definitely cures boredome and provides mental stimulation for my older guys who don't get out as often as we use to. I like to add Greek yogurt, pumpkin puree and peanut butter and crumble some treats on top, then freeze for about 30 minutes, and let my pets enjoy! Fairly easy to clean as long as you soak in some water for a few minutes before. No issues with putting them in the dishwasher. My set unfortunately didn't come with the spatula, but a butter knife or spoon works just fine. The suction is not the greatest on my tile floor but it sticks to the counter top and glass very well.

The media could not be loaded. These were a bit smaller than I expected, but honestly I didn’t even pay attention to any measurements on the listing so that’s on me. But they’re nice and thick while still being flexible, and the entire backside is covered in suction cups. It sticks to my fridge really well, and it held a good bit of Greek yogurt for my pups to lick. I also like that it came with a little spatula. Would order again!

My dogs love these mats! They are the perfect size for my 20 lb pups & easy to spread peanut butter on. They stick very well to my hardwood floors. I had some different ones before that had no suction bottoms so they would move all over the floor when my dogs used them. These stay put & seem pretty durable. Great value for 3 of them!
