I used this for a total of 2 vacations so far and in less than a year the zipper already ripped inside the storage compartment. I’m very organized and careful with how I store things. I’m no wood chuck. Oh well what a bummer! Expensive and poorly built. I’d look for another brand.

I bought this to replace an old one that I have that’s very heavy even empty. I prefer soft sided bags but the Samsonite bag I was looking at did not expand and I think a bag of this size should be able to expand. This one expands and it’s light enough that even packed to the gills it will prob stay under 50 lbs. Did I mention it’s light? It has compartments inside that zip up which helps keep your stuff organized but if you have something bulky (like a dozen bagels, there’s a reason I need an expandable bag) you will have to plan where to fit them. It worked wonderfully for me. I do not know how long this bag will last or how rugged it is, but I’m very pleased with its first trip.

Going to Alaska later this year so need bigger suitcase to hold bully clothes. Look forward to using this then
