Silencer Muffler for 1/5 RC HPI Rovan KM Baja 5B 5T 5SC Losi 5ive T Buggy

This is a good solution for me since they no longer offer parts for my rc engine. I installed with included silicone coupler on my 1/scale Stearman. Good quality and I was impressed.

The media could not be loaded. The Muffler in the description and photos is completely chrome. Every bit of it. The one I received has chrome only on the main body. The ends and the tips look like dirty copper. It looks like they never Chrome plated these areas. You can see it in my video. Also I bought this one because it had a red silicone connector that matched My Red Car. This one came with a blue silicone connector.

Would have been 5 stars but the coupler broke on my first run about ten minutes in with no roll overs or crashes. This muffler really does take the noise level down considerably on my 36cc Rovan, just find a different way to connect it instead of the included hose.

Feels like a solid quality part. Has a nice brushed finish on it. Inside it's a perforated tube with muffler packing material. It quiets down the crackles of a two stroke every so slightly. Don't expect a huge noise reduction unless you are adding a bunch of additional tubing. That being said, it has a larger diameter than my pipe's end bleed outlet and doesn't really affect the power noticeably. It adds a "refined" sound to your exhaust while quieting it down just a tad. This is just what I wanted and a great value. I might weld it on to the end of my pipe eventually.

Does not help at all to muffle the sound.
