Perfect jotting pencil
I'm sure that these leadholder pencils are aimed at artists but for me it's a sturdy, handy, portable jotter for everyday work and for carrying in a pocket. The pencil feels robust and while 2mm is a large point for writing, the on-board sharpener in the back button tapers the lead to a usable point for this purpose. I might trade up to a B lead for blackness, which again is possible with this system as all grades of lead are available.I have medium sized hands and the length isn't too short (about the same as a pencil that has been sharpened 1/3rd down) and the pencil is comfortable to write with.I'm happy enough to have ordered a red and black one and a set of coloured leads to use to highlight.

It was a good product but I personally prefer working with actual pencils
It was a good product but I personally prefer working with actual pencils. I have to get used to this mechanical pencil it just feels odd. But does its job

Inexpensive and a treat to hold
This is a really lovely mechanical pencil. Once sharpened, the supplied lead gives a lovely fluid stroke. The mechanism works very well and the intergal sharpener does a fine job. It is found in the screw-in cap. There is one minor negative points though. This is plastic bodied and has a cheap feel but at around 4 quid I think it wasn't unreasonable.

Smol lead holder
You have to snap lead to fit but it's perfect, simple design and easy to use. Fits anywhere too

Good Quality Clutch Pencil
This is a very good clutch pencil. A little shorter than expected but that's my fault for not reading description correctly.Would recommend this for anyone needing a quality drawing implement.

No great for price and uncomfortable
I bought this for comic art and I thought that it looked great but honestly the grip is not comfortable and it is not great for the money as for £9 you can get a good quality pencil, about 20 replacement led an extra led pointer and one on the end of the pencil so I recommend you buy that instead.

Great lead holder!
I really like this clutch pencil. The size is just right, perfect to keep in your pocket and long enough to properly write with it. It is made out of strong plastic and comes with HB graphite. Highly recommended this pencil for anyone really. It's simply great.

I will never use it again.
Some may prefer a thin, lightweight pencil/lead-holder but I find it unpleasant to use.1. I only have 'medium' size hands but I found it too thin. At 7.2mm across the flats, it is only slightly thicker than most wooden pencils.2. It is too short for long-term use because the clip is always in the way when you rotate the pencil in your hand to even-out the lead wear. That quickly gets irritating.3. Its lightness makes it feel flimsy. It is probably robust enough but it doesn't have the nice heft of any of my preferred writing implements (my favourite pencil is a 0.7mm LAMY 2000 which isn't exactly heavy).4. It was a mistake for me to buy a 'clutch pencil'/'lead-holder' instead of a 'propelling pencil' which advances the lead when you click it. I am so used to 'propelling pencils' that I keep inadvertently dropping the lead completely out of this 'lead-holder' when not concentrating on THIS PARTICULAR tool. I prefer to act instinctively and not have to constantly compensate for this different functionality. It is distracting.5. The finish is perfect and it functions perfectly as a 'lead-holder' but I have found that is not what I want. I do accept responsibility for buying the wrong 'tool' and hopefully one of my grandchildren will like it instead of me because - I will never use it again.
