Rugged, compact, elegant, no wobble
This is, simply put, the only collapsible stand I've found that can support a full-size notebook (Lenovo T540p, 15.6", ~2.6kg) with sufficiently little wobble that you can actually type on the damned thing. On top of all that, it's elegant, compact, well-made and very quick and easy both to erect and fold away again for storage in the included carrying pouch."Why only four stars then," you may well ask? Well, it's almost perfect, but not quite - the front hooks are only just *barely* long enough (18mm) to reach up to the top edge of a T-series Thinkpad and grip it properly, and then only because they're coated with high-friction rubber - they're slightly angled to give a positive lock, but the front of the machine is just slightly too high to properly engage this, so with a laptop of this size you're somewhat limited in the angles you can set the stand to and still be able to rely on it not to creep up and slide off, and you do have to be careful to make sure it's fully seated on the stand each time to ensure this can't happen (45 degrees seems optimal, I've never had it fall off at that setting yet). If they had just rounded that 18mm up to 20mm, it would be a perfect, five-star design; as-is, it's merely very good, but I worry a little that it may not age well - if the rubber coating on the hooks wears off, they may no longer be able to hold a laptop of this size just by friction; if they had the extra length to hook it properly, this would not be a concern.

Works a Treat for Working from Home
Having being relegated to home working by my employer in the great 2020 lockdown, after a few days, I felt I needed a laptop stand to prop up my work 15in Thinkpad (paired with a wireless keyboard and mouse) so that I could get a correctly positioned screen and web cam. Looking online, I choose this stand as it had a small footprint and could easily be folded up and put in my laptop bag. Pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Works as a tripod which depending upon then angle of th eback leg, allows a modicom of height adjustment for the top of the screen which brings the top to eye-level: ideal for comfort duing prolonged use and also when using the webcam during MS Teams calls. It's a stable unit but does need to be used on a table top (not on your lap) and you'll need an external keyboard and mouse as it's not designed to position your laptop for using its inbuilt scratchpad mouse and keyboard. Use it as I have it in my review photos and it works fine. Within a couple of days being used, I bought another for my wife's laptop during her lockdown working stint. A good buy.

Great in theory
Bought this to WFH, it sat on my desk during lockdown, did not get folded up at all. Since the end of lockdown, it's been folded down about twice, and now does not lock upright at all.It worked fine when it worked, but as with most reasonable priced items on Amazon, made in china, won't last, breaks easy, and ends up as plastic in a landfill.

Nice and compact
Great product for holding my 13 inch HP laptop.Adjustable angle and compact to fold away, ideal if dual screen with laptop to one side. Not designed for using the keys on the laptop.Minor issue is it can be a touch unstable if moved i.e. accidental pull of the charging cable could tilt it, so be careful where you lay any cables.

Its a great stand but
The stand is great as is the design very easy to mount your laptop or tablet into whatever position you want. Losses as star as its not as solid as it looks. I wonder on its durability but time will tell. It does fold down into a nice size so I can take to the office if they ever allow hot desks back !! Mainly using on my home desk as it stops my neck aching so much.

Tiny design flaw but you can work around it...
Its good but i find the little flippers to keep your laptop from sliding are too deep - maybe designed for a time when laptops were bricks. Ended up hurting my wrists using the trackpad -but solved either by using a mouse or by putting a placemat under the laptop to add more depth.Love the fact you can fold it and take it with you, it doesnt take up hardly any room!

Good for netbooks, not laptops
This is a decent product for what I need it for. I have a smaller netbook and it is fairly stable. Like other reviewers have said though, I don’t think it would support a normal size laptop. With the legs being in a tri design it can be abit wobbly on occasions.

Does the job well
Great little stand with a clever design, folds away easily and is just as easy to set up. it comfortably holds my 17" laptop steady ad the adjustable angle helps to position it just right. Not really stable enough to type on, you would be advised to have a wireless keyboard as well. Does exactly what you want it to do. A great buy
