Will not connect
I followed all instructions and even made up some of my own since they weren't very good. I was able to create and account and attempt to get it to connect to AMA Home but it just kept blinking and would not connect. I contacted JRSOKO via email and basically they told me to follow instructions. I'm a pc guy and I explained in the email that I followed all instructions so I'm not sure what part confused them. Others have also posted issues with connecting and a couple were able to over time and a lot weren't. I just don't think it should be so difficult to connect. I have 30 other smart home items and all were a lot easier. Unless you really like a long challenge they may be for not then don't buy.

Works Well after some setup detours
This device works well and seems to be reasonably well made but there were some issues setting it up to work with Alexa. Here's what I learned during setup.Step 1: Install the AMA Home app on your device (mine is Samsung Android Tablet) and create an account. I did this and chose a user name consisting of all lowercase letters and numbers and a nine character password but one or possibly both of these choices caused a problem at the next step.Step 2: Enable the SSG Smart Home skill in the Alexa app and link it to the AMA Home account by using the same user name and password. At this point I found that the SSG login automatically capitalized the first letter of the user name and will not allow you to change it, so be sure to use a capital on the first letter of your user name in the AMA Home app. Also I read in one of these Amazon reviews that it only will accept a user name consisting of 6 to 8 characters. So I started over using a different email address, A capitalized user name, and an 8 character password and everything went very smoothly. The switch has been working quite well since I set it up about 2 weeks ago.

You should not buy this product.
This is really a bad product. The manual consists of a very small (2" x 4") 2 page fold out with limited information. If the process doesn't work like the manual states then there are no helpful hints or help notes. There is absolutely no online information about this product other than what people have written in various reviews. In my case I spent 3 hours trying to get this product connected and never could. I am very comfortable with technology and have successfully worked with many other smart outlets. It wasn't just one bad product either as I had purchased two of these at the same time and both would not work.Lesson learned, look for online documentation associated with a product before ordering it.

Wont last Long
Product was difficult to install but after installing the correct app Ana, I got it working. I bought this in December of 2017 and by May 2018 (6 months) the product would no longer connect to WifFi. I conntacted the seller but the rely was, "Sorry its been too long I wont replace it." Since most of these units run around the same price I ordered a different one. The one here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0776T26Q3/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0776T26Q3&pd_rd_wg=fcUhG&pd_rd_r=0N0SY30E1K24FDCEVWQ7&pd_rd_w=F0CzV is actually a 3 outlet one that seems to work much better.

Software will not recognize the device
I had a lot of trouble getting the software to recognize this device and operate it. After many attempts it finely connected successfully but after a few hours it showed that the device was offline. Nothing I could do would make the app recognize the device and attempting to add it a second time failed continuously. I have other wifi smart outlets that work flawlessly. This one does not and the Application that is meant to control it is terrible with very limited control options. This is a poor product and I sent it back.

Not waterproof and does not do well with WiFi
I bought 2 of these to try to set up a flood light system outside for when my dogs need to go outside in the middle of the night. The first one never succeeded in connecting with my Wifi. The second one, following the same process, connected very quickly and I was able to at least run 2 flood lights. I kept the outlet underneath my grill canopy and hung the flood lights. It rained one day and a couple of drops blew in, and it never worked again.I highly encourage never to buy this product. Even if it does connect, it is definitely not waterproof. I am very disappointed and would give this 0 stars if I could.

never could connect, instructions are limited
I have connected multiple brands of smart plugs to my network and Alexa at home with little to no issue. I ordered this to manage some lights outside, yet I was unable to successfully connect it to my network. I could not connect to it directly from either iOS or Android on the 2.4 GHz band. Immediately returned for a refund.
