Very explicit book
Bought for my wife as a gift. She found the book very informative and full of chemical cross references. Is more academic in nature a Sn4 would benefit from a few more illustrations

Fantastic...packed with information
This book is really easy to digest & set out really well. It covers the biochemistry of plants to some level, a lot of information about the different body systems with the rest of the book offering clear simple directions what herbs to use for what & how to prepare them & contraindications linked to each of the herbs. This is my 'go to' book for everything herbal. A fantastic book filled with practical information; well written & enjoyable to read.

Its good, but not what i expected
Lots of information and great book, however i thought this book was going to teach me about hollistic hgealing with plants and herbs, it does do that but mostly assumes you know the remedies and is advising on portions as mixing medicines (herbs) can be dangerouse if the wrong quantity is used.
