Great Lunch
So far the box has worked great. My son. Uses it almost everyday for school lunch. He says it makes the food very hot and can warm it up with or without the lid. Will update after a few months if it is still working.

Great on the go
When working this box is A very convenient for job sites where you have no power to plug in. I only used this a total of 15x and now it's no longer working, won't charge or heat. I didn't use it for a while so maby the battery gave out. I contacted the company and they promptly sent another unit out same day, very pleased with thier response and service.

Heats well, but constant charging needed.
My son has sensory issues, so a hot lunch at school is a big deal to him. We tried lots and lots of vacuum sealed options but none of them really keep the food hot, only warm. This battery powered option is good for that, it really does heat the food. In a place like a school where students can't use a microwave, this is a great option.It's not that easy to clean because you have to manual clean the bottom part, can't wash it so water doesn't get into the electronics. The base isn't removable so that makes it more involved.The battery will maybe get you two reheats, that's it. We have gone to the charging every night so my son won't get to school and try to her his lunch and not be able to. It's been 2 months, we'll see how long the battery lasts.

Stopped working after 4 months
Purchased this lunch box in July and now October, it stopped charging. It had been used according to the direction for my son. I had an electrical engineer look and tried to fix it and it was beyond repair. For this amount that was paid, it was NOT a good value. It did not turn on and had no heat to warm the food after 4 months of regular usage @ around $100!!

The only bento that gives you hot food with a battery
My kids never got hot food at school until this bento box. It actually heats the food to a temperature that delivers or macaroni, hot chicken nuggets and anything else you want to send your kids to school with! The other brands I saw all required the kid to plug-in to the wall to heat the food. This is a battery powered one so you charge at night and it’s good to go!
