Completely loved this book
Say You Swear by Meagan BrandyAs my first Meagan Brandy book I was very happy with the outcome of this reading journey. This was such a good book for me and I must admit that I really did enjoy the love triangle aspect of this when I wasn’t expecting too at allSo much happened in this book that made it feel a little bit chaotic but the plot was so good and all of the characters in this book were so easy to like and connect with, which is such an important thing for me when reading a book. Even Chase was easy to like I just feel like he made some morally bad decisions but he took what was given to him and just went with it. I think he is actually a really nice character and personArianna and Noah’s relationship was beautiful. Their journey was so cute and emotional and I genuinely think they couldn’t be more perfect for each other and I’m so happy with how their journey played outThe end section of this book was so emotional, I don’t think I stopped crying since the major ‘thing’ happened until well after I finished this bookI genuinely wouldn’t change a thing about this book. Completely loved it

I made it!!!
So we choose this book for our 3rd buddy read this year and what a pick it was! This is my first book by this author and holy mother of hell. It ripped me apart, put me back together again just to destroy me some more.. feeling a lot like Humpty Dumpty right now 😂Our two leads are Ari and Noah, could they be more perfect for each other? More adorable? More fun and just complete heart stealers?! Noah said it best Romeo and Juliet at its finest, truer love has never been seen until these two.Ari has been in love with her brother best friend for as long as she can remember, they are some of the closest group of friends I’ve ever seen so the line was never crossed until of course it was.. does Ari get the happy ever after she thought, no not at all. Chase chooses his friendship with Mason (Ari’s brother) over her and I can’t say he instantly regrets it but he definitely will - don’t they all, once the girl wakes up and moves on.Ari is beautiful, free spirited, caring and so passionate about caring for others - even if she does burn boiling water. She has always been surrounded by friends and family so what happens when she pulls herself away. Will she be able to open up to Noah? Can her heart heal long enough to see what’s right in front of her?Noah, my goodness I don’t even know where to start with the utter perfection that is this man. Book boyfriend? Nope more like book husband, he has levelled up and now has set a very high bar for these book men!He is caring, strong, brave, fun, so adorable and just my goodness EVERYTHING! I couldn’t get enough of him, I felt nothing but love, admiration, sympathy and more love for him.It has always been him and his mother, when she became Ill he did everything to make her proud, be there for her and just be totally awesome! One look at Ari and he was in love, plain and simple! Is he strong enough to love this deeply? Or will he walk away shattered like the rest of us?However it’s not an easy journey.. not in the slightest. This book gave me anxiety, made me cry, made me laugh, had me falling head over hells. Pretty sure I screamed, yelled and throw the book in the freezer more times than I could count. Thank goodness I was reading as a buddy, F*** doing this book alone, I needed the shoulders to lean on.I literally can’t recommend this book more, I will be your shoulder, I’ll have snacks and tissues at the ready!

What a rollercoaster
This book was a ride! I felt every emotion going. It was well written and read honest. As someone who has been in the same medical situation as Ari I felt Megan did it justice. Looking for more of her work as I write this. well written. Well done!

Could Have Been Amazing
So it wasn’t until I got to chapter 2 before I realised that Arianna was Nate’s cousin from Fumbled Hearts. And once I did, I was so excited. I absolutely loved this book up to 60% of the way and up to that point in the book, I thought it was the best thing the author had written since Fumbled Hearts (The authors best book) in terms of the emotions and connection between the main characters, just beautiful. And then it went horribly wrong. Here are some of the reasons why (Spoilers)- How could you discover that you had a miscarriage and not know who the father is (because of the amnesia/car accident) and not seek to find out- how could Chase have behaved the way he did post amnesia/car accident and Mason have absolutely nothing to say or do about it, these were actions in complete contrast to character the author had spent the previous 60% of the book building- how did Arianna not ask or wonder why Noah kept hanging around- how could Noah have spent his entire high school and college life playing Football and plan to play professionally and then decide he doesn’t care anymore- how could Megan Brady have written possibly the worst epilogue is the history of the world, it was absolutely nonsensical and disappointingThe storyline became really stupid and the events utterly unrealistic and contrary to what we understood or knew the characters to be based on the first half.I’ve given 3 starts because as I said the first half of the book was fantastic, but the author lost a grip of the storyline unfortunately. I do hope we get a Mason and Peyton story as that could be a special book if the author gets it right.

Emotional roller coaster
Wow I really did enjoy this book, the emotions you get taken through are wild!!!! I loved the strong bond of the found family it really did warm my heart how they looked after each other. It’s not in my god tier contemporary romances but it really was a fantastic romance that sucked you in. Noah Riley, I get it now, you are literal perfection.
