my second pump
This is my second pump. The first died after 15+ years of gross abuse and neglect as a canoe pump and owed me nothing. An excellent little pump. It is not a powerful pump, but then it does not claim to be. It would take a long time to pump out a swamped canoe, but is great for removing a few gallons shipped going down a rapid. will not be damaged if run dry.

Good pump, poor switch
Used once and switch broke. Would not buy again

Good for my particular purpose. Not very long lived.
Bought several of these over the year to clear pooling water on a flat roof section over garage. Work ok in doing this, lasting few hours at most on high capacity rechargeable D batteries. Needs a section of hose to be added to the tubing to make useful. I do not think would pump more than short distance uphill but I do not need to do that. After few months all tend to stop working, sometimes due to fragile interior wiring, sometimes seems to be motor. However, not many options at all for this type of battery powered outdoor small pump and when working does the job.
