Compact size. 100-240v power supply - great for those of us that move from country to country. Nice and compact. Long power cable for easy reach. Comes with USB cables, 2 HDMI, and 1 DP. The USB-C to USB-C is a little short for one of my laptops, but works great for my HP. It can't be too long due to the standard for video transmission. It works great. I'm really impressed. I use a mouse for gaming and a trackball for everything else. No problem. Running games through it I was still at 265FPS on my 4090. Very convenient. USB devices automatically move to the system you are using. Also convenient. And I can't say how random SD cards just show in my life (usually from family). I don't have to dig through things to find a card reader now. Thank you for that little extra.

I've been using this for 3 months now daily for work. I wanted to give it some time before leaving a review and run it through it's paces.The Good1. Love that it charges the laptop when hooked up.2. Easy setup and connections without having to use all kinds of adapters.3. Clean desktop space and easy to switch between computers.The not so Good1. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the dual monitors and only one registers. You have to shut off the monitor it doesn't recognize and turn it back on, then it works.2. If the other computer you're not using is on and then goes to sleep, it causes both monitors to black out for about 3 seconds. They then turn right back on with the signal with the computer you are using.

I have this thing hooked up mainly to my desktop computer with 2 monitors. It works perfect with my 240hz 1080p monitor for gaming and there is no latency! I use the switch to use my laptop with my keyboard and mouse and two monitors. It's so nice to not have to unplug any cables, and I can just use one setup for two different computers.Once in a while the laptop mode will bug out and I just have to unplug and replug in the usb-c cable, but I think this might just be the laptop because I've used a different laptop and it works fine. Definitely read the specs and make sure your laptop will work with the KVM switch.

This seemed like the perfect solution for a gaming / work from home laptop setup. The price seemed like it would be a decent enough product, not some cheap junk, that would work. Maybe not the highest end product, but reasonable.Boy, was I wrong.Out of the box, when set up exactly as instructed, the Desktop PC would only display on one monitor, and when the laptop was selected, it would only display on the other monitor. I figured I had done something wrong, and contacted AV Access tech support. Dear goodness, I've never encountered worse support in my life. The "chat" feature on the website prompted me to leave an email address and they'd respond within 24 hours. 23 hours later, I got a response with the basic "have you tried restarting" and "what are the computer specs" type questions. I answered, and waited another day for a response. I followed those instructions, didn't work. Emailed back. 24 hours later, no response. 48 hours later, no response. I finally got another agent via chat, told them the problem, they said "I'll forward it to tech support, and they'll get back within 24 hours."24 hours later, they emailed me a firmware upgrade that wouldn't work as per the instructions they provided. A chat agent close to midnight was able to walk me through it, and found places that the instructions they sent were incorrect, and we installed the firmware upgrade.here's a shock: It didn't work!Then he had some other stuff to try, which had already been tried, twice, in response to two separate emails.Absolutely done. If you're looking for a convenient way to switch between your home desktop PC and work laptop, it would be much easier to buy a silicone mine, craft your own PCB's, source transistors and microchips, become a computer scientist, and invent your own product from scratch, than it would be to make this product work.And for the record, nothing we have is pushing the limits of its capabilities. It advertises dual 4k monitors. All we're trying to do is have 2 1080p monitors running at the same time.I am returning this item, and instead will get a USB switch, and a dock for the laptop, and will use both video inputs for the monitors to toggle between showing the desktop and the laptop.That solution will cost less as well.

This is a fantastic KVM. When searching for a product that can switch between a laptop and PC there were limited to no products available. Thankfully this KVM exists and it works perfectly! The switching between computers was very simple with the click of one button and has made my workspace very efficient and effective. Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a similar solution.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I have one monitor plugged into the kvm switch but it’s reading two somehow, and my display resolution won’t go beyond 60hz. My monitor is a 240hz, but only does 60?

I really do like this device, and I was disappointed when it stopped working after 4 months.... but the team over at AV Access took care of me and got another device shipped out free of charge to replace the one that stopped working.They offered a full refund, but I opted for the replacement as it really is a solid piece of equipment! I would definitely purchase through this brand again just based on the interaction with the customer support!
