Need to.force purge the air out
Connect a hose and run water through it to purge any air, then it quiets down and has run fine so far since installing a few months ago.

Works as advertised...
I installed this marine A/C water circulation pump about a month ago (7/24) in my boat and so far it is working well. The unit has great water flow and is quiet. I also like the unsolicited communications from the seller.

Overheats in warm climates
This a/c circulation pump will not work in warm weather climates. With water temperature in the mid 80s, pump overheats and shuts off after a couple of minutes. Then the a/c high pressure skyrockets and unit shuts down.Purchase the pumps with water cooling to the motor.

Good pump
Style: 500GPHI installed this marine A/C water circulation pump about a month ago (7/24). I was a direct replacement to the old pump in my boat and so far it is working well. The unit is quiet.

Didn’t last long
Pump failed after 6 months intermittent use as an air conditioning cooling water pump.The impeller and housing were fine, suspiciously the pump wouldn’t run at all.Replaced with exact model, hopefully it was just a one off failure
