Thick. Soft. Plush. Heavy. WONDERFUL. Chenille!
This yarn is terrific. Not only is it all of the above, but this yarn is CLEAN (NO fuzz], machine washable, and easy to use.I bought 24 skeins, probably a lot more than I needed!I am basically a newbie to knitting. I have made a few projects on a loom, have NEVER used knitting needles, and have never crocheted. (I'm an accomplished quilter.)I am hand knitting/finger knitting this project. I have chosen a simple Knit 1 Purl 1. There is no back side with this pattern . I was worried that the pattern of my knitting wouldn't be visible with this chenille and the inherent lack of perfection with hand knitting. No fears, the pattern shows nicely. I am a happy knotting knitter!Guage:My width is much larger than I intended. Unfortunately, I didn't plan adequately, watched a video that suggested to start with 45 stitches, and I started with about 40. My width is about 60 inches. That's a HUGE Throw!I have just started my 7th skein, and the length of my project is currently from my armpit to the end of my palm. I'm about 60 inches tall. It is approximately 20 inches long so far.Shipping:This yarn was smashed! It was sealed (not vacuum packed) in a huge plastic bag and then further constrained in a cardboard box that was smaller than the volume of the yarn. Indeed, it was SMASHED. NO WORRIES though. I opened it shortly after it arrived, and as you can see in the pics, it seems as plush as it ever could have been.Despite time to figure out how to finger knit, watch a video, rip multiple times before I really got the hang of this, I have only about 5 hours in this project so far. I am now familiar, less likely to make mistakes, and rather fast. It's all a joy from here on out!Who is this yarn NOT for? This yarn is too thick to use on an infinity loom, or most commercial looms. Looms made for this chunky yarn are generally DIY or expensive. This yarn is also NOT for one who wants near factory perfection in their stitches (unless you use a loom.) My project, like lumpy homemade mashed potatoes, has homespun charm that shows imperfection. It's lumpy, loveable, and perfectly matched to the texture of the chenille!Based on all of the above, the yarn is also very economical--its value probably cannot be surpassed! I would be pleased to buy this yarn again and again! (Slightly pre-tariffs)Happy stitching!

Excellent Quality, but...
I love the high quality yarn and that it's vacuum sealed. The yarn is just too big for size 13 knitting needles and it's too big for a size 16 crochet hook. The yarn is good for finger knitting.

Super soft and great color blending. My nephew made a blanket out of this and turned out to be a super soft and fluffy blanket. Great choice.
