Some chalkiness, WORKS WONDERS!
1.5 scoops does the trick every time, typically within 24 hours. Occasionally, a 2nd dose is necessary the next day. This powder will turn a beverage milky-whitish, so if you add it to clear red juice, the juice will turn pink and will no longer be see-through. It will look kinda like strawberry milk.My 8 y/o daughter says the PLAIN powder has no flavor, but sometimes it doesn't dissolve perfectly, so there is a chalky grittiness to the texture. If you want to hide it from a child, you have to put it in something white with a little texture: yogurt with crunchy granola, hot chocolate with crunchy freeze dried mini marshmallows, cream-based soup with crushed crackers, mashed potatoes sprinkled with bacon bits, green bean casserole with crispy onions, cereal with milk, etc.The powder will settle to the bottom of liquid pretty quickly, so my daughter stirs her beverage with a spoon before each sip, and tries to chug it down quickly.I didn't buy the berry flavored one, as artificial flavors are hit-or-miss for picky kids. Plain is the way to go (literally).

It works .
This has helped my 3 year old poop 3 times in one week after not being able to poop without a suppository for over 2 months!. Tastes horrible, haven't been able to mix in any drink or anything, very chalky. So i just mix in a medicine cup with a bit of milk ; and administer using a syringe like medication . This way I know she gets the whole thing . Then, she can have her juice or water without messing it up with this horrible taste.I think this may be a good option for autism parents who can't afford to risk losing any safe foods / drinks their kids may have .I think we will be good with 3 times a week to promote regularity without dependence and without watery poop . I've never been so excited about poop!BUY IT .

Really works
This has been great to help my son with his constipation. It was recommended by his GI and it really works. I mixed it with his favorite juice and he loves it.

Flavor is Too Powerful
I want to like this product and gave it 3 stars for being natural and a safe alternative to Miralax which we flat out refuse to give to a three-year-old. Our pediatrician gave us the go-ahead to try this stuff. But the taste is WAY too overpowering for a little kid. No matter what we hid it in, our child won't drink it. Returning it and trying the unflavored. I read that one is chalky and doesn't mix well, so what we're doing is adding it to Carnation Instant breakfast and whole milk and putting it in the blender to resolve the consistency issue and hoping that works. Our child is withholding stool so I'm anxious to try this product. Really bummed this flavor isn't appealing to kids. I personally don't mind it- it's got that strong artificial sweetener taste. It's not bad necessarily, but it's too much for picky kids. Overall I read fantastic things about this stuff and hope my child will drink it.

Good Product, But Don't Mix With Water
Recommend by our GI doctor and it did work. My daughter didn't like what the powder did to water, but I was able to mix it in milk without her having any issue.

Honest review
I got the unflavored version which I was really excited about because for the first time ever I could give my son something to help him poop that wouldn’t cause him to raise a huge fit. WRONG!! The unflavored version turns whatever drink you put it in to turn a pale opaque version of whatever you give them. Lemonade turns into what looks like milk, soda ends up looking like melted gross popsicle again with milk. I honestly have no idea if the product works or not but I’m pissed that I spent $35 on a product that I can’t even try because it makes the drink look AWFUL. Don’t waste your time if your kids are sensitive to looks like mine.

Really helpful with toddler constipation
This seems to *really* be helping my 2.5 year old with her ongoing battle with constipation. Her pediatrician recommended this one specifically. Not all magnesium powders are created equal so do your research and ask your pediatrician! I appreciate that this mixes well into anything. I mix it into her liquid probiotic yogurt drinks and she drinks every sip each night without a fight!

The product that finally got my daughter to go regularly!!!
After many months of trying to get my 2 year old daughter to poop this is the product that gets her to go regularly!! It’s technically not for her age range but I don’t give her the full amount and it’s been great after using it for many months.
