Brilliant product, arrived quickly, well packed and long use by dates.
As a vegetarian who used to struggle with my B vitamins intake following GP recommendation I have used Vecon for many years, but can no longer purchase in any local shops. I love this product - gives a good solid, but rounded and not over powering base flavour to cooking. Was hesitant to purchase via Amazon as unable to check use by dates, but very pleased to find that the use by dates were in fact well in advance of what I was used to having to buy locally.

Essential for the vegetarian cupboard
Instant depth of flavour to most vegetarian recipes, even where a heavy broth is required. I use it quite a bit in combination with ground coriander for intense and earthy stew bases. Very well packed with a 20 month 'sell by' (not 'use by') - and I imagine, if well stored, a long life beyond.

You either love it...
Its Vecon, hard to get where I live. I use it in stew, drinks, anywhere I want a savory taste. It was delivered the day after order was placed and the price is very good. If you like the other yeast spread then you will probably like thi, it is Vegetarian.

VERY TASTY
IT HAS A LOVELY TASTE AND A DARK BROWN RICH COLOUR. YOU CANSPOON IN AS UCH OR LITTLE AS YOU LIKE OR LET IT DOWN IN WATER FIRST IF YOU PREFER. IT IS A LITTLE SALTY, SO THEREFORE YOU DON'T NEED ANY SALT IN YOUR STEW/PIE OR WHATEVER YOU ARE MAKING.

Love Vecon
Have been using Vecon paste for years my soups are not the same with anything else. Always bought from Holland and Barratt but they have stopped selling it thankfully found this supplier and am very happy with my purchase and price.

Love it, love it
Love it, love it, love it! Great in veg soups, would not be without it. Thanks Amazon for selling in these great 4 jar packs. Arrived well packaged and no leakage as some other reviews would suggest.Update regarding leakage: I figured out if they are warm, ie: posted in summer and spend time in a hot truck they will leak. I had my extra jars stored near my clothes dryer and of course.....they started leaking.So keep them in cool spot and expect them to have leaked if you order them in summer months (nice surprise if they haven't but don't hold your breath)

Other half uses this like Marmite! Also great for stock, soups and all kinds of cooking. Recommended.

Not low salt
A good product. I use it in gravy and soups but the salt level could be lower. A bit high at over 28g per 100g.
