Small and mighty
I have purchased countless clip on lights over the year and either they were too small, not enough light or would not clip and stay on the surface I am using. This is my 3rd purchase from the Daylight company and this little clip on light is great. It has a strong clamp but isn't in the way - and has a flexible neck that can be moved easily. There are 3 light options and they are all very bright. My ONLY issue is that the battery life is not as long as I would like. It is great until the battery starts to go and then the light is very low to nothing. I end up having to sit near an extension cord to plug it in so I can continue to work. So if you need to use it on a plane or car without a cord, you might get about 4-5 good hours until you have to charge it again.

Good light, but charge runs out quickly
Like the light it provides for embroidery, hand stitching or reading. Flexible, easy to use. Light turns on/off almost too easily do have to be sure it is off when done. Charge doesn’t last long.

It's good light, but there are some limitations
I use this light every night, for about 15 minutes or so before I go to sleep. I use it to knit in bed. I clip it to a floor lamp light shade, so that I can extend it over to where I am sitting against the headboard. The first limitation is that it really does not stretch that far. So, that is something. I often sort of hover over the edge of the bed to get good light, which is the opposite of relaxing. Second, the light comes on very easily. I know that other reviewers have mentioned this, but it is so true. Barely touch the spot to turn the light on and it comes on. So, if you are carrying it somewhere, you really have to be careful about this. The reason is because of the third limitation - the battery is pretty short lived. I will say that the light has not gone "out" on me, but it noticeably dims after just a few uses. I have gotten in the habit of just charging it every other day. With all of that said, there are many wonderful qualities. It is a Daylight product, which I think are exceptionally good lights all around, in general. Also, it is very lightweight, very easy to move around, and you can clip it to many things that you might have handy. The light is good, when the battery is fully charged, and it does stay good for a few usages (the way that I use it.) The light is very easy to operate, and it looks nice. So, I think awareness of the limitations is important, but it is a good light, and so that is what I have to say about that!

Battery life is SHORT and broke at base
I bought this light to cross stitch in the evening. It's lightweight and super bright, but it only lasts maybe 90 minutes at full brightness. I basically keep it plugged into a battery pack the whole time, which defeats the purpose a bit. Additionally, 6 months after I purchase it, it broke at the base of the neck, so it's really can't be used now. Quite disappointed this happened! It's past the Amazon return period, so I'm going to see if the Daylight Company will honor their warranty.

These Clip-on Lights are the BEST
I own three of these, I bought One at a Quilters Show at a Civic Center and I couldn't stop raving about them to all my friends. I have TWO in the bedroom as reading lamps and see where you're going in the middle of the night. Another at the Device charging station at the other end of the house in combination with a Monoprice flat multi-outlet power strip with usb outputs for recharging the LED Clip-On Light. Also what makes it the BEST is the HI-MID-LO Level settings of the LED Light. Everybody on the planet Earth needs at least one of these lights. Wait a minute, they also are battery operated so you can clip them to a book in the forest and go for a walk at the same time.....You can use them to find the TV remote in the dark. I'm sold on them, when I'm done here I need to buy some more. I highly recommend these, have had no issues with them after 2 years of use.

Super bright, Battery is lacking
Light works well it’s a warmer color. incredibly bright at the highest setting. I would say to keep it plugged in because the battery on it is very very short. Easy to use, good for reading or painting. Pretty versatile. Overall cheap and works well!

Loved it so much I bought 2, but...
Another update 11/23: 3 stars to 2. Charging cord won't work on either lamp anymore, rendering them both useless :( I've tried swapping the cords, and even found an adapter that worked for a while, but it too eventually stopped working. I have to assume there's a loose connection inside the lamps.Update 10/22: 5 to 3 stars. I purchased this lamp several years ago, and loved it so much that I bought another for my portable art kit. The lamp itself is fantastic (tho I did manage to damage the neck on one of them trying to adjust it, but I'll take the blame there because the other is fine). I love the adjustability, and the light is clean and bright. The battery life isn't great, but being able to connect to a USB source IS great, because I can just hook it up to a battery bank if I'm not near a plug. The cord is the problem. First of all, it's proprietary. If it was either a micro USB or USB-C, I could use one of my phone cords instead.. Both of my lamp cords are very touchy at both the USB end and lamp connections, and often flicker on and off so that the charge is not as good as it probably should be. Great little lamp, but good luck getting it charged well.

Perfect for my night light
I had something similar that I used for a night light in my room when I needed to turn a light on quickly but the neck broke. This one is almost exactly the same as my previous one, except it is a little bit brighter. Good quality too.
