We bought our first one a year ago for our 7 year old daughter for long road trips, flights and while waiting for us when we worked out. It is very user friendly and has a bunch of apps she loves to play/follow. We have it customized for youtube videos for her age and a password for her to open the tablet. We loved it so much, we bought two more for our 4 year old daughters. They love theirs as well. Keep an eye open though. We paid $138, $157 and $146 for it. If price matters, this one does change every so often. For longevity, we also purchased a screen protector (Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Screen Protector [Tempered Glass], SPARIN Ultra Clear High Definition Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Tab E (9.6 Inch, 2015 Version) for $9 and tablet holder (Color Our Life Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Kiddie Case-Shock Proof Light Weight Convertible Handle Stand Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Inch Tablet) for $16. For the number of times our daughters have accidentally dropped their tablets, there isn't a scratch or break to show for it!!!

I got this for my son because he didn’t like the Amazon Fire Tablet very much since it couldn’t play YouTube Kids. This has been a great tablet. Very durable. Long battery life and easy to operate. I put it in a blue case to keep it protected in case he drops it but this tablet is great for a kid. The picture quality is really good and it’s easy to install apps.

I bought this tablet off Amazon not long after it came out and it was one of my favorite tablets. It was just the right size screen and want very heavy to hold. I loved the appearance of it, it was also pretty fast at pulling up apps. Battery life was pretty good and it was a great price for what I got. Performance was great! I love samsung products, they never disappoint me.

This is a great tablet. I'm docking it one star because it can be a little laggy and slow compared to some of the better models of tablet I have owned. For its class and size though its 100% worth the price.

So far this has been great. I wanted it for cookbooks, music around the house and reasons I figured i would discover. One of the things I really like, is that it lets you set up a Samsung account and gives helpful reminders on when to reboot, wifi security, etc. I am an internet/VoIP technician and don't need the extra help, but know many that do. Heck. If only Apple would set up reminders like this my job would be easier!Overall, it's a good tablet, with many uses. It hosts a great OS (Android) and Assisted program in the Samsung account setup. I will keep my eyes open for these tablets when I am ready to upgrade or replace!

I like the size. Nice large screen. Much better than using a cell phone. It's my first tablet, so I have none to compare it too, but I really like it. I only have two minor "druthers". I wish the charging cord was longer, and the max volume on the mic. Some videos have low sound, and I have to hold it to my ear. I was told by several people, even professionals, I wouldn't be able to text on it, which was a downer. However, I found a texting app for .99 cents a month that works great! Voice and typing, and the large keyboard is much better than the small ones on cell phones. For the size and quality, I believe its a good price.

I've always liked Samsung products, and this product is just what I expected from Samsung. It is easy to use, and has a crystal clear screen for reading, writing, and even game playing (although I'd rather use mine for reading and writing). Downloading applications and setting up user preferences quick and simple. I really enjoy using this tablet.

Not the snappiest for browsing the internet. My phone runs circles around it in terms of performance. Screen resolution is low.My biggest issue with it is the neglected OS from Samsung. The Android Security Patch Level is from Oct 1, 2017. That's nearly 2 years without an update from Samsung.I can't recommend using this for anything other than basic tablet use due to the outdated security patches. Price wise it is good though I am looking into an alternative ROM or returning it due to my concerns.
