Since finally committing to shaving my thinning hair almost 3 years ago, I’ve been searching for a method to keep it shaven that both gets close enough to the skin and is time effective. I’ve rotated through safety razors, classic Mach 3 razor, electric foil razors, and a couple of different electric razors “for bald heads”. All of the classic razors accomplish the close shave I want, but add a solid 15 minutes to my mornings. The electric razors I’ve tried are faster(and some even gave a close shave!), but if it had been more than 2-3 days since my last go they became a hassle; requiring multiple stops to rinse out hair. And ALL the “bald heads” designs I’d tried required far too much effort just to open each individual head to rinse(especially if being used in the shower/with any shave cream), specifically the middle head in the common “honeycomb” pattern.The design change with this product is a true game changer. Being able to simply pop off the entire head with a light tug, rinse, and just snap back in due to the magnetic feature brought me more joy than any grooming tool should. It was as if the health and beauty Gods finally decided to create an effective AND well designed product. Plus, since initially charging it up fully and running it through 15-20 cycles it still has 47% battery left which isn’t something I was very concerned about but is impressive nonetheless. The travel lock feature is nice too. Definitely recommendfor any fellow baldies that don’t feel like/have time for the full lather and classic razor shave.

The media could not be loaded. I have been having issues shaving with a typical wet razor, and I mostly shave my head because I am bald, yup i said it, bald. I'd like to first start off and say I have tried many concepts from many brands and including spending lots of money on the expensive shavers costing over 200 dollars. I must say even though I have pre existing red marks from the normal shaving, having ingrown hairs, and feeling irriation no matter what i did. Buying this Solimpia shaver has made me pretty happy, it's pretty fast and under 5 minutes to shave your head. I have also tried dry and wet shaves (pre shave oil only) with it, and it seems to do pretty well. It will delete the hair but like most electric shavers it will still feel like a days worth of growth on your head (like very light sandpaper). It isnt visible though, so you really look like you just shaved with a normal razor without visible hair. I must also say even with my sensitive skin, I feel no irritation from this shaver at all, wet or dry. Just remember to cut in small circular patterns. I have found out that works best in maximizing your time and cut. For the price of the shaver compared to others and the replacement magnetic blades being under 15 dollars, you can't go wrong with this one! I specifically chose this one for at home and on the go. You can use your cell phone charger to charge it, which is amazing. I have been shaving for over a week and it only dropped down from 99 to 65 from just 4 or 5 head shaves. I'd say the battery works well too. It seems to fit well in my small hands and does a pretty awesome job. The heads on the blades flex to contour of your head and the direction of the shave and I must say it's a life saver. Thanks for making this product affordable, because it surely competes against the multi hundred dollar shavers we have on the market today. If you shave your head, dont hesitate, i enjoy this product very much. Thanks again!PS, some people may find shaving around the ears with this shape being a little difficult, but it's not impossible, I normally look in the mirror and do it so I don't cut my beard off lol. Its still a great product!

I wanted to wait and give this thing an honest try.It doesn’t get SLICK close, but it gets “daily bald” close enough.Don't waste your money on anything over about the $25 mark. They are all about the same. I picked this one up for $20-$25, and I’m pleased.

I just tried it right of the box and will update my review if my impressions change, but here are my initial (exceptionally positive) thoughts.Value: not just “good for the money,” but far better than others regardless of price - the great reviews are real - and the refill blades are an incredible value compared with others (I cancelled my Groomie subscription after trying it)Performance: shaved my head exceptionally well right out of the box even though it’s been five days since my last razor shave - slightly not quite as close as a razor shave but as good as anything other than that - and I don’t think a razor shave would have been closer without rinsing it excessivelyQuality: solid device - plastic but well-designed - and metal where the parts should be metalEase: extremely easy to hold and doesn’t put too much pressure on any of the blades like some others that makes them hard to handle or fall out of the shaver when using themCleaning: the one piece head is easy to remove and clean unlike others that require you to open and clean each blade set individuallyBattery: full-shave of my head after five-day growth took only 7% battery powerUPDATE: Still awesome. Cuts really close, nearly BBS - even better with Williams Lectric Shave. Easier to clean than I’d thought: underneath the blade layer, the hairs are mostly together and very easy to dump out. Battery still strong at 70% after multiple shaves.Just ordered an extra one and a case to keep one charged in my travel kit - and an extra blade set just because.ANOTHER UPDATE: do you happen to remember the old Remington shaver ads where the guy said, “I liked it so much I bought the company.” I get it, and if I could, I might buy this company. Since my last review I broke the replacement head by cleaning it too hard, but that was on me.But… I got a professional straight blade head shave two days ago and just now slowly shaved my head again with this shaver: surprisingly it’s just as BBS as was the straight shave! I love this thing, but that’s probably abundantly clear by now.
