I am a car audio enthusiast and when my son asked for this head unit for Christmas I was skeptical. The install was pretty simple, all plug and play. You will need to drop the AC/Heating controls down a spot to make it fit but that was also simple. The head unit itself has a lot of great features and it works perfectly with an iPhone. The worst part of the install is running the back up camera cables from the head unit to the trunk. All in all an excellent bang for your buck and it exceeded my expectations!

Normally I wait a while to write a review. I bought this one to replace another similar aftermarket radio. The previous unit I had for a year and a half. I started to experience totally random battery drains. In cold weather it would randomly cycle between the radio, default music and video app. None of my obd2 readers would not work on my car. I finally decided to replace it with this unit. Everything works well, and it also synced the time on my instrument cluster!(my knob is broken so I couldn't set the time). Easy plug and play install, especially since I already had another similar head unit I the car already. Will update in a few months.

very easy to install. I tried several different brand of this headunit but cambus and steering wheel control didn't work at all so I returned them and bought this one and this headunit works perfect!! I would definitely recommend this product to someone who has e46. worth buying it! customer service replied my questions within an hour or so and it helped me a lot when I had problem with backup camera.

The sound quality is fine and the ease of installation is good, but that's it for positive comments. It's impossible to program to get rid of things like reverse-mute. It has this stupid graphic that just won't go away, it doesn't remember settings so each time I start the car I have to reset, you can save radio stations but you can't get rid of any. Plus, when buying a replacement stereo, you really want a volume knob. There are better models and brands out there, stay away from this one. I bought another Eonon for a different car and I have no complaints, but this one is terrible.Let me be clear, the product itself isn’t great, the customer service on the other hand, astonishingly stellar. I should leave a separate review for that. They reached out to me to resolve my issue, not the other way around. Incredible. Thank you. 🙏

Install is VERY plug-n-play. The only tools I used were a screwdriver and a pry tool to pop off the trim. No cutting or soldering.Steering wheel controls work without issue, I can adjust my volume just fine.And Apple CarPlay works perfectly fine via Bluetooth without needing to connect the phone directly through USB.Looks good

The media could not be loaded. First of all this head unit looks amazing once installed sound quality is another i didn’t want to get an after market radio that sacrificed the ability to customize the bass treble like with the oem one. super easy to install as well took a total of 30-45 min to take everything out and put the new one in one small issue i have with the head unit is they don’t include screws for the middle bracket as it is thicker than the original it doesn’t thread all the way through so you have to purchase 2 longer screws but thats not too big of a issue over all 10/10

Head unit fits well on the E46, interface is easy to use. Lots of options in unit, great customer service

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The product is well made and fit perfectly in the factory space and the only modification was to move the A/C control head to the factory ashtray position beneath the radio which slid right in with no issues. The speed of the unit is excellent and it retained all of my factory steering wheel controls as well. I highly recommend this unit for that tired old BMW radio.
