I used these bags for two bottles of wine and a wine glass I purchased on vacation. They are super easy to use and really protected my items. I did wrap some clothing around the bags in my suitcase for some extra padding, but I think everything would have been just fine anyway. Both bottles and the wine glass made it all the way home to the States from Eastern Europe with no breakage at all. Because nothing broke I can't really say how well the bags stop anything from spilling out, but honestly I'm glad I can't give that part of the review. Will be using these again for sure.

Looking forward to using these on our upcoming trip to Portugal. Lets hope I never have to find out if the soak up 750 ml :-)

What a great product! Packed red wine, limoncello and white wine in three separate bags. Italy to Chicago and no broken bottles! ( I did wrap clothes around the bags for extra security.) And reusable too. Highly recommend!

We were able to transport our 10 complimentary bottles of liquor from our resort back to the US with no breakage or spills. The best thing is they are reusable so no need to reinvest.

I prefer these bags over the "bubble wrap" style because I like the idea of the absorbent liner. I travelled home from Europe a few years ago with 8 bottles of wine without issue, and have travelled with 1–2 bottles on many other occasions also without issue.I do wish the bag plastic were a little thicker to be more sturdy because it will tear easier than some of the other styles that I've seen. Also, the plastic seems to dry up(?) and become brittle after a few years, therefore a limited life span on these bags.Still, I will keep buying them because they work well.
