Great for an independent senior living on the second floor condo or apartment.
So far this hand cart is worth the money. Live on second floor and pulling my old hand cart up each step hurt my shoulder. The third wheel rolls easily onto next step and the cart rises with a gentle tug depending (of course) on how heavy the load is. Still easier to use on steps. It helps that the handle rises to a longer length so a taller person can stand up straight while using it. It’s well made, easily collapses, light enough to carry down the stairs to my car where I store it between shopping trips. Would be absolutely perfect with detachable basket for groceries or laundry.

A real back-saver!
This stair climbing hand truck is a real back-saver! It navigates stairs surprisingly well, making moving heavy boxes or appliances much less daunting. Overall, a fantastic tool that significantly reduces the strain of moving items up and down stairs. Definitely worth it if you frequently deal with steps.

Very heavy, works great!
It works the way it should, it's well-made, sturdy, and assembly was very easy. However, it is very heavy. If you are a smaller person, try it when you have someone nearby who can help you. Excellent piece of equipment.

Good for stairs but harder to turn when on regular floors
I had a heavy ventless washer(330 lbs) I needed to get up stairs and was able to do it with this dolly however there are several things that made it hard. One was the handles are short and when trying to pull up the washer up the handles are under the machine. The problem with this was there was no way I could lift this by myself so I had help pushing from below. I had to bend over to reach the handles under the machine and had several times where I had my arms crushed when they started to push since there was not much room between balancing the machine and being able to lift it. Also if using it on a finished floor it scuffs when turning since 4 wheels are down at the same time. Thats the down side to all wheeled dolly’s however

Easy to use, easy to put together, easy to store
I love this hand truck. I am 63 and live on the second floor. While I do need to use my strength to pull things up the stairs, it comes up with ease. I have brought up multiple boxes and some that would need 2 people with me not being one of the 2. It folds up nicely for storing and does not take up too much space. It was simple to put together and it is made well so it should last a very long time and will come in handy I am sure.

Not worth it. It’s a gimmick.
Can’t go downstairs with it if you have any weight on it at all, it wants to tip you forward. The center of gravity is too far forward from the wheels. It works fine on flat ground, but it is difficult to turn with the two wheels on each side making contact with the ground. I didn’t use it until after the return date had expired so I guess I’ll keep it until I find somebody that needs one.

Terrifying to use
I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex and I ordered this to assist with carrying some of my heavier boxes down the stairs. It’s absolutely terrifying given the only thing holding the wheels in place is a small circular ring that you bang into place with a mallet (no mallet or rope is included). I felt as though the wheels were going to fall off and all my very expensive stuff was going to come crashing down. Looks like I’ll be sending it back and carrying all of these boxes down by hand instead.

6" wheels give clearance to stair threads
solid construction and work smoothly on stairs with heavy load. Its 6 inches wheels give enough clearance to the stair threads, so they are not damaged. Smaller wheels will not do.
