Got these to convert the two Mini DisplayPorts on the Surface Dock (1661) to HDMI connections. Build quality seems to be good. Both ends of the connectors are a good solid fit and the short cable is reassuringly chunky. Thought these were well-priced and have been working without any issues so far.

I have a newer Lenovo laptop with a mini displayport, but no HDMI. This has happily allowed my Lenovo to drive a 4k TV (albeit at 30hz, and the onboard graphics struggles with the load, but this is no fault of the adapter, which does its job fine.)

This is awesome value for money.Much cheaper than retail brands, and provides the same if not superior experience, as it is able to handle multiple sources and outputs (personal computer, gaming console, projector)would recommend
