Works perfect!
I kept getting a mass Air flow sensor code on my 2010 mazda 5. I wanted to stick with OEM but parts store wanted almost $200 for this Denso MAF. I got it for almost half here and plugged right in. It did not fix the problem but that's because I also needed to do my MAP sensor. I did that and now all is good. I did Keep the Denso MAP sensor as mine was the original and already had about 170k miles on it. So it made sense to keep the new one.

Works great as long as you know what you're doing
Had rough idle on my car and after cleaning my original MAF saw a huge difference in idle and no more hesitation while accelerating on my Mazda 5. It came back again so instead of just cleaning it out again I bought a new one.The reason this part fails is due to excess carbon on the air intake. You need to clean out your throttle body too, otherwise you risk premature failure on the new MAF.I cleaned out the throttle body, replaced the MAF, then reset the ECU, relearned the idle and the car has been running strong almost like new again. This is great as I thought I had a transmission issue. It's just two screws and a wire, so very easy to do if you just want to replace the MAF. I ended up losing one of my screws, so be careful when you remove it, as it's just housed in plastic.I'll probably end up cleaning the throttle body more often on this car in hopes I don't have to buy another MAF.

Good part, hard to service, easy to replace.
These things are hard to clean properly, and the heating element tends to fail slowly over time, affecting your fuel/air mix. Was a super-easy (two screws) drop=in replacement on my Mazda; took all of 5 minutes. Noticeable change in the idle right afterward.Denso makes quality products.

Good.......
Had a leak code on my 06 mazda 6 3.0L....installed this and fixed the problem. However, I have had the worse fuel mileage ever since. I have given it time to calibrate and now it's passed the return time. I may have to get another one elsewhere and hopefully get my mileage back. I was at 26-30 mpg before this, now I'm under 20 mpg. Very frustrating
