Definitely NOT real leather. The pouch appears well finished though.

Good but more like suede
This is definitely more suede like than a smooth leather feel. I’m not using it as a tobacco pouch but it seems reasonable quality with good organisation, neat and compact, could easily fit in a jacket pocket. Recommended.

Nice pouch
I got this tobacco pouch for my husband as his is starting to look a bit tired and he is really pleased with it. He did comment that it is more like suede than leather so will not be as easy to keep clean and is therefore likely to not last as long but it fits a 50g pouch of tobacco in it with easy, filters and papers with room to spare for change, notes, etc. Overall, he is happy but is worried that it will soon start to look tatty given it's not smooth leather.
