Good little orinter
Been running it for a few weeks without issue. You need the Epson app to print from handheld devices which is a little odd. Photo printing is good. It’s fast but a bit noisy when the output tray opens.

Excellent Quality, great bang for the $
I was in the photo business my whole life, (retired now) and I can tell you the quality is near as good as any retail lab that prints photos from digital prints like a 4x6" in about a minute. And will suit 95% of all users, and hi-res.However, if you are one to print literally hundreds and hundreds of photos all the time, the cost per print would be much lower, and quick turnaround from a photo lab.Simple WiFi connection from your laptop, PC, and direct print from your phone.

BEING RETURNED
I have owned over 20 printers over the last 20 years and 6 were photo printers. My Canons have been excellent. This one from Epson is going back. First time ever. The 4 inch screen is so bright it is uncomfortable to use. I just spent 3 hours trying to get it to print color photos from my phone and computer. HORRIBLE. Shredder material. It did a nice job copying a black and white instruction booklet page. It is the first printer I have ever planned to return.

Great Printer but read this
The printer itself is great. But it had a hard time getting going. Called Epson service. They were very organized. First person told me to run the head cleaning three times. Gave me a reference number and a direct line to service to call back. When the head cleaning failed to correct things, I called the number. Direct to service. PulledUp reference number. That person concluded the printer was defective. And said it would need to be returned.I did not want to give up. Didn’t return it. Bottom line: reseated each of the ink cartridges and cleaned the heads. Bingo. All good.So I guess the tldr is: make sure you get the ink cartridges seated; clean the heads.Final thought: the ink cartridges it comes with are very small capacity. So plan on them being of little use after cleaning. A new set of large capacity inks cost about $150.Really final thought: MAC and PC installed and used it easily. Printing is fast and quiet. Two sided was seamless. Printer is compact and lightweight. Amazing really compared to my old Epson 810.

Its a very good printer.
Terrific printer. Once you get it set up, it works flawlessly. Nice pictures. I haven't had to replace any cartridges yet, so I can't comment on the routine costs.
