Very good grill, suitable for different needs, we really like to make sandwiches in it, they turn out very juicy inside, add ham and lots of cheese and a crispy crust on the outside, set the timer for 10 minutes and everything is perfect, we use foil for baking so as not to wash the plates every time. But there are no problems with washing the plates either, since they are removable and you can simply wash them in the sink. I did not regret that I took it

Vivicreate MB-P13 panini press has badly cast plastic. Actual quality control or conscientious assemblers should have caught this. From the design perspective, the wirebound cable connecting the upper & lower plates has inadequate slack. The upper plate cannot float properly because of the tension so sandwiches come out sloped, not flat. The thick side of the sandwich near the handle gets cooked less than the squashed side near the hinge. I specifically shopped for the floating lid feature so I'm very disappointed by the lopsided sandwiches I got from this press.

We used this all winter making grilled food inside. It's super functional. From making turkey burgers to paninis it heats up fast and heats evenly. It has a nice big surface and can fit 2 big steaks at once and adjusts for the thickness, which is really cool.The last one I had when you closed the lid it was always on an angle. With this one it adjusts to a high or low position to give it an even cooking across the surface, but there is a slight angle yet and I end up spinning the sandwiches 180 degrees about halfway through.The clean up is super easy. I just let it cool down and then wipe it off with a paper towel or you just push the buttons and the plates pop off and put them in the sink for a rinse. All in all a good tool for the kitchen.

I love having this panini maker in our kitchen! It has added another option for feeding my hungry teen something he enjoys that actually has nutritional value. AND the added bonus of him being able to do it himself! At first I wasn't sure if I liked the timer knob for turning it on, but now I realize I like it because I know it won't accidently be left plugged in AND turned on, it will at least shut off. The non-stick is very non-stick and easy to wipe clean and the floating hinge is generous so you can put a tall sandwich in and still get an even grill.

I've been using a basic grill to cook paninis for many years. The problem with that grill is that it doesn't even have a power switch, let alone any adjustments. This panini grill is great because it lets you dial in your temperature and time so you can toast your bread to exactly how you want it. It's large enough for the round loaves of sourdough so you can cook these types of sandwiches easily. I could see using it to cook meat and fish if I didn't want to fire up the back yard grill. I recommend this product.

Just took it out of the box and it was broken. Don’t know when it happened but not sure if it is useable still or not. If it is, I will give more stars. As of right now I gave it a 2.
